The last time I was involved in a "sooty installation party" there was $2700 worth of damage to my basement and a hyper-active Alpaca loose in my house for five days.
You probably dozed off when "Superman Returns" was on cable TV. One of the first action sequences was the shuttle blasting off from the back of a 747 and the clamps stuck so the plane went along for the ride.
I didn't mind that they used Brando's face for Jor-El again.
The part that annoyed the living hell out of me is that they used the same damn intro music as the original Superman flick from the 70's. John Williams probably cost too much this time around to make something original.
BTW: Target is selling all 4 original Superman flicks in a skinny case for something like $13 - I think we got it for $10 at Christmas.
first off I snerked and thought OT's dream was cool - do we have a dream thread here? I've always wanted to write down my dreams. I've heard that we lose about 75% reccolection and then another 10%-20% within a few minutes after that.
secondly, I thought it was cool that maddog knew that about the movie.
Speaking of, I got my tickets for the wrestler for tonight. Woo! Been looking forward to it for a while. PLUS - the wife lost a bet so I get to choose the restaurant ahead of time.
I like that The Wrester movie is under 2 hours long. Has anyone seen Benjamin Button yet? Looks like a Forrest Gump type of movie, but it's almost three hours!
Like I said before - you get a dream of finding the medallion, you write down EVERY DETAIL (preferably in this forum). :wink:
"On my way to work this morning I saw a dog that matches his description running. He was heading north, running on the east side of Hwy 95, just heading into downtown stillwater. If you know where that bronze statue of the 3 kids is, he was right in front of that..running towards town, toward the dress shop and parking lot.
I couldn't stop or turn around..so thought I'd post it here in case someone in the area could watch out for him. Might be another dog, but still a lost dog nonetheless.

I've been having fantastically weird dreams since I started taking Chantix. One of the side effects is nightmares, but mine are like something out of a Fellini film. I just wish I could remember more of them.
I'm not taking anything and the other night I dreamt I was shot and killed or concious but not able to move, open my eyes or anything...it was sooo scary I've NEVER had a dream like that before.
So... I was watching that Twin Cities Live tv show, on channel 5 today....
Its the new one, thats on at 3:00, and looks like a rip-off of Regis & Kelly....
I saw somebody in the audience at one point, that looked EXACTLY like my sister...
so I call her cell phone to tell her.... it goes to voicemail, so I figure she's still at work, or whatever, and leave a message, telling her I spotted her look-a-like....
a half hour later, the phone rings, and it was her....
"Hello?"
"You Punk! You're a dick!"
"Why??"
"because that WAS me!"
Her and a friend took off early to go see the show....
turns out, she forgot to turn her cell phone off, so it started ringing, as they were taping the show, and she got yelled at and evil stares....
whoops! :cool:
she said they give away bags full of cool freebies....
and they're going back next Friday too....

I hated the nightmares, I always woke up thinking people were in my room trying to kill me. Was never really anything else. Peopl just wanted to kill me.
But... I have been smoke free since September/October 2007.
Aren't you supposed to take the pills sequentially? The first week the doses are different than subsequent weeks. I'm not sure how effective they will be without the initial weeks dosage.
The first 3 days you take 1 pill, the white ones 1/2 mg.
day4 through 7,1 white pills twice a day, and then 2 pills a day of the blue ones that are one mg. Take with food if they upset your stomach or with meds you can get in Amsterdam.
The whole Ableminds forum went offline briefly last night for about 15 minutes. I was right in the middle of reading posts. Annoying, but once I got back after reading the PP Site messages it was back on again.
