2009 - Swede Hollow

Good noodling, however, there is no way The Med will be hidden on State property (State Park). That's not public property, but State property.

Good!

I was just wondering if it was a possibility.

Good facts. Thank you, My Master.

However, doesn't have anything to do with the Clues!

Go post that on Mom Press! LOL!!!

I'll not be out again tonight. My sinuses still are acting up and my head hurts and I'm tired...all that being said I was going to come out just to get out but Daddy has to go plow some strip mall tonight that wasn't done properly a few nights ago or something...so it's to bed early for me again.. I have a date with Niquil again.

Go back and slog through all the posts you by-passed to post. You're missing info that's already been covered and folks are way beyond.

Don't mean to harsh, but it gets tedious and irritating resaying what's been said. We want to move on to the next Clue...

L and A - hope you get past that crud soon. Take care of yourself.

I don't think people are holding anything back. Just no sense in repeating and repeating the same old things.

It is interesting what others have to say about the way they are personally deciphering clues.

I tell ya. Having two clues a day was better. Way better.

Once you get the clue, there is a 24 hour wait for the next one. Way too long in my opinion.

Tooing and froing here...bbiab

Sounds good to me. Better'un a date with cold, headache and screaming.

I suffer from being a natural barameter. Right now my left ear is popping like popcorn popper. As long as there's no infection, I'm otay.

I feel for you.

I went to the PP for the first time last night. A lot of people stuck around and chatted about the clue. I think that everything that was discussed then has been posted here. No one has come up with a great idea of where to find it yet. People are all over - Swede, BC, Phalen, etc. Maybe tonight's clue will clear it up.

Lee - I hope you're right. I started looking at each park I thought it might be in...and found clues that fit like a glove...some in two or more parks.

Nothing seemed to fit neatly all at one park.

Does that mean you're not really going to give us each $100?

OK, so it can't be on Pike Island in Ft Snelling Park b/c that is a state park... but I just read that it was used as an internment camp (i.e. DETENTION center) for Dakota Indians. Hmm.

Andrea, I see where you're thinking that, but could you see the PP putting the puck in a state park where many, many people would need to pay for a park sticker?

Inks folks used to buy us a state sticker every year for Christmas. They haven't done that now in a few years - so I don't even know what a yearly sticker costs anymore...but it's way more than a WC button.

OK. Good point. I don't really think it is there- truly. I just keep coming across things that make me circle back to it. I don't really want it to be in BC either.... if I had my druthers, it would be in good old Como which is in my backyard!

Interesting. Me 2. I have so many parks on my list, i just put back Como, and your 3 parks are low on my list, I respect you rnoodeling it is interesting that we have such diffrent ideas. To be honest, I have not considered those 3 parks at all, except for dog park at BC. I'll have to look at them

Highland, sweede, como, linwood, Phalen, chair o key, harriet, AA,

Still no mention of a park.

Box would be happy - he loved to give us red herrings.

lipstick looks best on a hocky mom.

'mom'

Okay - my 2 cents, which is about ALL it's worth:

The thought occured to me, about the lipstick/pig line.....that maybe we're supposed to look for a park that has been renamed as something else...but it's still a park.

Not that I can THINK of any such park, but that's about all I've got that hasn't been noodled to death already.

I'm with you, Terry...2 clues a day was WAY better. Doubt I'll see tonight's clue before 4am tomorrow, and then won't be able to even scope until after a school concert in the evening. BUT I am hoping to have Friday afternoon off too....just hope that a) it's not found yet and b) I KNOW by then where I need to dig!

Terry

I'm with you on that, Andrea.

I have never liked BC hunts.

Como is close to us - though not quite in our backyard.

It would be fun if they did a park like Conway again. That hunt went for a number of days before the puck was found.

I thought I had replied to your question about Mystical, but it didn't quote your message at all.

She was at the Pre-dig Gig on Saturday night, and I think I've seen her on line once or twice on the who's here wall.

I will. Todays clue is talking about 2 celeberties.

Sara Palin the VP nominee

and

Tina Fea (Spelling may be wrong) SNL's Sara Palin superstar, yes the one that wanted to play her flute in the talent competition.

When you mix Fea, and Palin you get Fea-lin.

Interesting idea there Mom.

Wonder what names have been changed.

I know Gabes has a new name and look - no longer Gabe's by the park. Gabes though none the less.

well, if you do your word-play Mr. Tom, and Tina's name is Fey, pronounced FAY it is Fay-Lin: TaDa Phalen!

That was my 2 cents, but I was gonna wait the other 250 or so posts until I printed it. Thanks for stealing my glory.

We can't have 12 clues saying what park it is...

Yup. But it's not Gabe's by the Park. It's Gabe's something else.

I don't speed-read very well. Can someone paraphrase and just tell me where it is and what it's in?!?

Queen, if she is getting private messages, she can find this forum.

Sometimes when someone first signs in, there is a slight delay in getting the monies credited and access granted. That's not the Cooler Crew - but the sysops.

From the main listing (Member Folders (Forums and Discussions),

Find in the alphabetical listing, "Cooler Crew Refugee Camp"

Then St Paul Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt Folder

Then 2009 Treasure Hunt Folder

Then 2009 St. Paul Winter Carnival Medallion
