hey OT, ran in to a man and his wife in BC today. They mentioned they post on the pp boards and were looking for yah. nice family. I can't recall his name exactly but it was something like crush66 or something. he says hi.
If that guy that was found out in BC and Every one Keeps SAY I Was All over the park and I searched there for hrs and I was IN this place and that place DONT YOU THINK Someone WOuld have heard him or SEEN HIM?????
What kind of hunters are we if WE cant find A Guy that MOstlky Weights about 200lbs in a park right in the CITY??? Hello If thats the way hunt who of us that was in that part of the park can REALLY SAy you could find something a 100th the size of that guy???
I would like to says that I know if I was down there and walked that part of the park and didnt find that guy I would hang it up forever!! and never hunt!! becasue WOW I would just feel like HELLO The guy probley was able to talk and ALL!!
Did no one go that deep in the park or what???
OR he Was just covering his azz and saying that he was out there by his own WIll maybe someone drug him out there and HID HIM LOL!!! :ooh:
Or maybe he was the Spotter or the Hider and he was out to check on it and messed up and got jacked??? dosnt say where he was working?? dose it!! lol

He was up on the bike trails area, where there are ski trails now. Most of us were over by the dog park. Still, you'd think a skier or someone would have found him. I'd like to think I'd crawl to a road if I could. BC's not THAT big to be lost for two days. Funny, his cell wasn't working until a friend called him two days later??? I'd be moving and trying it, if I could. I think there's more to this story.
He wasn't in the area we hunt. We tend to stick to established trails and he was off the beaten path behind the ski area, nowhere near the lower part of BC, (More like mid part).
Besides, theres moer to that story....He must been F'd up or something not to use his cel phone. They called him wednesday and he answered, so phone worked. He was just drunk and passed out if you ask me...
yeah especially with that weird spelling of it. same people that woulda named their kid jimi (again with the weird spelling) had she been a boy, i guess. :sheepish:
Is anyone planning on going to the Vulcan Victory dance this year? I know that Pilots, Lilman and I will be there, but it would be fun to get more cooler crew folk there to party it up. It is a lot of fun!

Question for the group: Last couple of years we've done teleconference calls to get the clue quicker and work together as a team. Do we want to do that again this year? What night(s)?
It was awesome being in on the conference call last year.
I would love to be in on it again. Those of us listening at home can type and post as the clue is being read to us.
I'll watch for info about this conference call, but do post it a few times for those of us who miss something when we slog 500-1000 posts at time, please. Thanks!

At this point, I have 50 lines scheduled.
What we did last year is that whomever the leader is, probably leelabell, since she volunteered, will put everybody in the field (or whereever) on mute, and so once they get the clue, they read it a couple of times and then open it up to questions.
We do need an official volutneer to be #1 in line person, PM Me and I'll give you the organizer info you'll need.
We've spoken before, I'm a friend of Jana Armstead's from the Cooler Crew. Since your alleged "retirement" brought out a spotting session at Obb's this hunting season, I thought you might be interested in this: Since the cluewriter clearly is taunting us from time to time, we have improved our technology and teamwork: Instead of having multiple people down at the paper to call out clues, we have nightly conference calls for Cooler crew members, so we all get the clue first, and at the same time. (Generally after about clue 9 we do this.)
We'd be honored if you'd like to listen in next year.
