Daughter is the ace. She was the one that first had those earmuffs in her widdle hands.
This will be the first year she's digging since I made her put them back where she found them.
I still contend that if I had let her keep those, the medallion would still not be found. They would have fallen into the depths of one of her drawers or her closet never to be seen again.
I obviously dismissed them having anything to do with the medallion. She would have pack-ratted them away and it would have been the only year it wasn't found.
It wouldn't be in a building, but there is plenty of public land there. Just wondering where they could possibly hide it if it weren't in a park like setting.
Down town in a public place could get to be interesting. With all the activities down there. Maybe the ice sculpters would really like the hunters doing a job on there handy work.
It's been at Kellogg, Mears and the Capital Mall...and under a mail box. Rice is out because of the ice sculptures...and I wonder if Harriet Island would be considered downtown. There is also that reopened Shepard Road.
Now wouldn't that be a kick if it was on the Parkway strip along the newly opened Shepard? Or along one of the bike paths? Like the one that Follows Shepard from the Airport, to Warner, all the Way to Battle Creek? HMMMMMMM
I am keeping an open mind...but if these were the only clues to find it with...I'd dig the capital mall.
But then tonight's clue could change all that. I'm not out digging yet.
Terr, no muffs to find on the Capitol grounds?
I figure we got this aced this year. Daughter is seriously hunting with us. She was part of the earmuffs thing.
How do the cards deal out,,, you have an Ace????
Let's talk about the clues....not old times.....

Old times are good toooooo... Clues are St Paul for now... Can you read the clue writers mind yet.... keep trying....
Terr, you mean you would of "dismissed" them and never looked at them????
I obviously dismissed them having anything to do with the medallion. She would have pack-ratted them away and it would have been the only year it wasn't found.
Till ten years later when you you cleaned house......Hummmm
I really meant 5 years.....
My house is cleaned more often than that! It's her room I don't go into.
If the muffs are there,,,, you maybe better check it out...
Radar,
I stated last Friday that is was going to be downtown St. Paul (not in a park).....I still beliv this.
MF
Terr, I'm messin with you,,, But your a stand up GAL....
I do like the idea of it being downtown. There is so much happening there recently - and so much work to bring that area to life.
Fats, it has to be on public land,,, or a park... Downtown is not public....
Radar - I know you're messing with me...but that's okay. What goes around comes around.
Minnesota Fats - you thinking a downtown park or just the general area?
It wouldn't be in a building, but there is plenty of public land there. Just wondering where they could possibly hide it if it weren't in a park like setting.
Terr, thanks for understanding... (knew you would) Fats, there are some parks downtown... What are the chances???

Hi Radar
It's been at Kellogg, Mears and the Capital Mall...and under a mail box. Rice is out because of the ice sculptures...and I wonder if Harriet Island would be considered downtown. There is also that reopened Shepard Road.
In what area then Fats? Public, or park...? There are parks downtown... which are public...
Yes, Harriet Island is in St Paul...
I know that!!!!!
But is it or would it be considered a downtown park?
Radar,
I stated last Friday that is was going to be downtown St. Paul (not in a park).....I still beliv this.

Fats, Downtown St Paul... as what......???
bbiab - need to figure out something for dinner.
There is something that would be bold about doing a general downtown hunt.
What about Kellogg...isn't that a "park"???
Terry, I've been trying to call you for ages!!!
A downtown hunt would be fun.... dinner,,, who's hungry??? sept for the Med...
I'm hungry Radar!
Try some chips Lites... you stay tuned then...
Is that the same Lites I remember????
not with the cold I've got brewin'!!! I'm thinking hot 'n sour soup.
Had that cold Sat... lasted 1 day.... soup is good....
Soup is WONDERFUL when you're feelin' like your head's stuck in a bag full of bubblewrap.
Bubblewrap.....? Mine was running wildfire...
Ears are all plugged up...I keep "thinking" I hear something...then I find out I'm imagining it...just echoes between the ears in that empty space.
Yup, congestion... Try sudafed... or chicken soup with some good hot peppers.... it will clear out the stuffies...
Radar,

Fats, try posting something as not repeats....

Wasn't last year's hunt worth 10 grand also? Was that the Millenium version?
D you have something there... It "could" be...
Sorry....computer malfunction....
It is in the bike tunnel below highway sixty one that leads into battle creek. Lot's of "non-park" space if we want to find it.
Yes Last years hunt was worth 10K.... but this is the 50th hunt... and it will be a tough one... no easy answers this year...
Other non-park space--Willard Munger trail (ending at Maryland), the WM Trail extension--(ending at L'orient)--if I don't see park soon...
Good noodling Dave.
