I just spent some time reading last years posts after the last clue was given out and through the conference call. Fun reading that and has me looking forward to tonight. :smile:

Wow, our little library in Somerset has Thayers book, something for me to read when the hunt ends.

I agree that we should start the conference call before 11, I'd say 10:45 or 10:30 even to be safe.

His Silent Snow is fun too. It's about a kidnapping in modern times that imitates the Lindbergh kidnapping and part of the book goes back to the past and follows Grover Mudd again as he tries to solve the Lindbergh case. So you have some St. Paul history in that one too.

Looks like the first call last year was at 10:26 even though the reserved time was stated as 10:45.

not sure you can, and personally dont know why you would want to. Hard to read backwards.

There will be lots of people on the conference call waiting for you to tell us the clue. Eags did a good job of getting it right last year.

One suggestion and not a criticism at all. If you read the clue slowly, and stopping after each line, it will save time. Last year I believe you had to repeat it several times before anyone got it written down.

And thank you so much for doing this for everyone. Taking one for the team, so to speak. You probably want to be out in the park as much as anyone.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if tonight's clue is another vague, four-line clue saying its at SH. Didn't we decide they moved clue 12 up a day because of the bitter cold? And they never did publish a clue 12.

I am going to try to speak more slowly this year. The whole battery thing last year screwed me up.
