Like Kitch said, 4:00 pm every day on the coffee shop wall for seven days. I'll be in town tomorrow and will post again tomorrow. They have two computers for public use right in the coffee shop.
They are indicating that the city of Eden Prairie is involved. Did you check the city site for the clues?
Yes I checked online at the city and the Dunn Bros website but didn't see anything. We will stop in to get the clues on the wall. I didn't realize that you were in Eden Prairie. We have it narrowed down to 4 parks...
So I went to Miller Park right across the street from the Dunn Bros and found the skating rink right behind a ball field along walking path littered with dog feces within viewing distance of a little playground.
I found two hockey pucks and two miss matched gloves, so it wasn't a total loss.
Staring Lake, dog walking spot (dog park-east end), roller blades, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, playground for the kids (west end). Archery range on the east side too, just a bit north of where I have seen the K-9 cops training the dogs... Good luck hunting you guys.
So we were looking for the Chanhassen Medallion which was just reported found. It was hidden at the base of a water tower under a pine tree. Strangely enough my wife had the idea to look near the water towers because of what clue 1 stated but we figured that they were not accessible. Lame...., learned a lesson there.
Also a little teed off that the finders found it on Sunday but did not turn it in until late Monday afternoon. A little etiquette please.
A couple thoughts on NSP's hunt. I'm guessing it'll be in Northwood, Southwood, Tower or Polar.
I'm basing that on mapping out where they've hidden it since 2003. The parks I mentioned are the largest of the ones left that they haven't hidden it in.
Of course, the cluewriter is free to reuse one of the others as well, just depends on what they're looking at. Or if they even bother to keep notes.
My wife is very happy looking for this so hopefully we find it tomorrow. Tonight we found a free cup of coffee, they hid smaller free coffee prizes as well.
I saw the clue writer as well, I think he looks for the St. Paul medallion.
After my wife and I have looked for a couple hours each we are starting to think that its hidden a little more difficult then under a tree per say.
We are trying to find it but certainly not talking a half day at work or anything.
I spent some time this morning before work and yesterday after work. Also my wife is looking on her lunch break.
One thing scares us though: we thought we knew where it was and when we got to the spot there was 15 work force people cleaning up all the litter in the park :lipsealed:
We hope one of them didn't find an old wrench and throw it away...
Sounds like someone doesn't want to buy a present and hopes she can FIND it instead...
Kinda like me hoping that the wife forgets that our anniversary is the day BEFORE Valentine's Day - or, at least, won't obligate me to get flowers two days in a row.
1877, that was the year in which Sheldon Smith first arrived here.
North of old East Street and scenic Heights Road, is the location Mr. Smith chose for his abode.
Equipped with the tools he held in his hands.
He began to construct his home in which Dunn Brothers now stands.
Reaching for his wrench to tighten a bolt down,
He realized he lost it while traveling through town.
The Millers and Rileys all seaarched high and low.
And the Fredericks and Marshalls wondered, "Where did it go?"
Can You Help us search for Sheldon Smith's Wrench?

He told the clerks he was going out hunting where he thought it might be. He did not let on to where he was going, beyond a park.
You'd see a pop fly, and skaters skate by
As Childres jump and play.
I hope not to rile you up,
But you may walk your pup
In the place where your rusty prize lay.
need baseball, rollerbladers...yeah thats it...
"Mosquitoes buzzing in my ear really bothers me"--rile up...
pup = pup tent...yeah...camping :pbpt: :pbpt: :pbpt: :pbpt:
Riley is a park, which we can eliminate.
I found two hockey pucks and two miss matched gloves, so it wasn't a total loss.
But I think its safe to say not riley.
Also a little teed off that the finders found it on Sunday but did not turn it in until late Monday afternoon. A little etiquette please.
Now we just focus on the E.P. wrench.
I see they have not posted the second clue on the website.
I guess this truly is a "minor league hunt" :frown:
:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:
Heh, I remember the north st. paul one where we decided not to go check out McKnight Fields, turns out someone found it there the next day.
:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

The lake named after Jonas
was once Caroline for his
wife so dear.
For the hunters abound
who know this
It's no use to look around here.
The clue writer is standing here and not giving any hints. Time to research old plats of the EP?
One thing in let out..?..all the clues so far only eliminate....
geez...comeon...don't make me drive over there..
I saw the clue writer as well, I think he looks for the St. Paul medallion.

I'm crossing my fingers.
Kinda like me hoping that the wife forgets that our anniversary is the day BEFORE Valentine's Day - or, at least, won't obligate me to get flowers two days in a row.
Good Luck with all that.
Maybe I should have waited to see if she found it. :goofy:
go find it today!
then I win my fantasy eden prarie hunt league!
Its our goal to find this thing today.
I hope it isn't buried in the snow because we haven't been digging...
We assume it would be under a tree/bench or something similar.
Hiding it in the snow would be a bit aggressive for $150 gift card to Dunn Bros.
So we are right at the spot where it is supposed to be, I know it.
but I cannot find it anywhere??? I'm starting to think someone has it and has not turned it in or else its buried in snow...
If its buried than I'm waiting for the last.
Sorry Tim probably not tonight, we are now heading out for B-day dinner sushi.
did you mention it to the coffee shop when you went in next?
or ask the people cleaning up if they found one?
