Mr. & Mrs. Dachsund are flying to D.C. for a vacation in May from Tues - Sat. I dunno if four days is enough time to see all the museums and stuff out there - anyone made the rounds inside the beltway before?

Our company just distributed foaming hand sanitizer to all of us employees to help reduce fear of the swine flu and other crap that's spreading. You wouldn't believe how many building tenants are 'inquiring' what we're doing to address their concerns regarding our Mexican employees possibly spreading the virus.

We just tell then that our employees are more worried than the building occupants are since they go into all areas of the buildings instead of just one floor.
My co-worker keeps talking about how she SAT NEXT TO A MEXICAN on the plane ride home from Mexico last week... HELLO!!! it irritates the crap out of me that she doesn't grasp that this is not a MEXICAN disease its that it originated in Mexico!!! :angry:
I qualified to go directly to the State championship with the new bar poker league around here. Regions are Sunday and 11 more will qualify of ~90 from the metro area. State is at Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, were ~250 players from across the state will play for ~50 seats (top twelve expenses paid) to LV were 21 seats will be given to the WSOP after playing in a tourney at the Palms. :smile:

Finally getting my dual boot setup on my laptop. I just have too many applications that are windows dependent yet, and Wine or virtual machines just aren't cutting it.
Also I found a site that explained how to use one profile in firefox for both ubuntu and windows, so whatever system I boot up I still have all my browser tabs, bookmarks and preferences the same. :cool:
I think they're replacing the Hennepin exit with the Broadway one now. Longer area to accommodate a turn lane. And a straight shot for the majority of drivers who go into the NE Mpls area anyway.
