My thinker is about done in for tonight. Stayed up way too late last night and swore this morning it wouldn't happen tonight too.

How many of you all are working together with someone else?

I'm getting gobbledygook too, no matter how I try it.

Also trying to figure out how to end up with 13 characters or less in the answer when I'm working with 40 initials, as there is nothing else I'm finding obvious that these 20 people represent or have in common.

Then again, it could be you're not doing it right and need to try a different approach.

My movie plan got cancelled. Unfortunately it seems my phone has died or something so I didn't get the message until after I was already at the theater and found a payphone.

Angels and Demons is a good show - they make allusions that it happens AFTER DaVinci code, not before like the book does. 2 hours 16 minutes - might want to avoid the Large Soda at the snack counter....

BTW - I'm on Puzzle 5 with the messed up fonts now.

Well, 3 and 4 are just trivia questions - the cryptology crap is the real roadblocks. 5 is a doozy!

I just feel Dumb with getting hung up on the first one!! lol

Oh well I guess I wont be getting on a team!!! If I cant figer out the first one I guess I wouldn't want me on a team ether! I know who they are and what they are knowing for!!!

A team doesn't necessarily need 5 puzzle solvers to win. They also need people who know how to get around town quickly.

I got the first one right away... just a couple minutes. The second one...how is a 22 year-old nerd like me supposed to know all these people!

I now have a completed celebrity list for the photos - the B&W girl in the middle row could easily be a couple different people - I had that name wrong for the longest time and just couldn't get the train on the right track...

Reggie, Jeremy, and I are on the 5th puzzle now...

I think my Mac is having trouble with the 5th puzzle page text - one of the symbol fonts does not come in correctly. I tried to replace the font, but it seems exclusive to Windows Internet Explorer.

I tried it this morning on a Windows machine here at work - most of the symbols on that page are supposed to be directional arrows, right? The font at home was replacing it with some goofy "Ù" symbol instead of the arrows.

Any chance you could e-mail me a picture of the page? I'm still not sure the fonts are correct.

I was able to update the page and change the text to a picture so no one should have that problem anymore.

It's always good to have someone test these things out for you.

I checked the rest of the puzzles and there aren't any others that rely on unusual fonts. Everything else is saved in picture format.

Reggie and I are on the 7th puzzle, we think we have the answer but it's not working. AW, is there any chance you mispelled the anwser?

I have not read the last 50 posts cause I don't want the answers ...yet. Even though I can't be there 9/19 I want to figure out the online puzzles.

My 20 year high school reunion and 11th wedding anniversary is supposed to be Sept 19th so I expect to be busy and an emotional mess. I won't be able to participate.

It looks like I sort of spelled it wrong in that I used capital letters even when I told people not to. I didn't realize it actually made a difference in a URL. I will attempt to go and fix that right away. Good job on the 6th puzzle. That was one of the trickier ones.

I got the code figured out on the 2nd one. Now have to find the correct url.

so when the url fails, ironically, one gets sent to doteasy.com

I'm working on bugs as people point them out, but I haven't done much to the ones people haven't gotten to yet.

AW, or anyone who has answered - when putting in a last name, do I capitalize the name, such as if the person pictured is John Doe, would it be Doe or doe?

I am completely stumped by #9. I think I need to take my mind off of it for a while.

I've gotten to six completely by myself... today was a long day and tomorrow may be better... just don't have a lot of time right now

Number 9 is probably the hardest, possibly too hard, but we'll see.
