Get some work done brotha. They never seen anything in all my MRIs CT scans and XRays until they looked at what my blood was doing to me. It was tearing me apart starting with my back while destroying my heart valve in the process. Ask anyone who made it to my house before I went in. I was paralyzed. And no pain meds helped for sh!t either.

How long after your teeth work did you start to have problems???

Irritates: the last 2 months of coaching against an evil spawn of a woman, who basically stacked her team of girls and is the definition of poor sportsmanship.

The flip side is, my girls beat her fair and square and did it with good sportsmanship and were the 'bigger' players even tho the other team was a bunch of mean girls. I'm so proud.

hearing a flapping noise while driving my truck the last few days when it was windy. Driving me nuts on what it could be. Sounded like my tonnoua cover on the bed of the truck rising up and down, but it didn't seem loose. Then I thought maybe something in the in bed storage ratteling around. Then I thought maybe a little backfiring or something. Then today it seemed to be my back windows on the cab shaking. Upon closer examination I found a peice thats about 5 inches wide and runs all the way across the top of the cab above the window is loose and flapping in the wind when I'm on the freeway. I wanted to leave town in the morning for the weekend and now have to go see the dealer. Sucks. The thing has a place where theres a bolt that can be used for a roll bar option and the nut came loose. It must hold the whole peice on. I'm just thinking that if its plastic and has been bending, its only a matter of time before the paint comes off too from bending over and over. :sad: :coolfrown:

I've had a few more reports from family that they got a "thank you for signing up" e-mail from the Susan G. Komen foundation. They were going to call the foundation. Maybe if enough people call, the ditz woman who thought it was no big deal will finally get it. Someone is sending out e-mails in the foundation's name.

It just looked suspicious to me. And the man I got on the phone initially said he'd had four similar calls just in that hour. The woman he transferred me to, at headquarters, was completely unconcerned that anyone was phishing using the name of their foundation. They should at least be putting something on their webpage to warn people. I hope anyone who gets one of these now, will call and be as insistent as I needed to be - made her promise to report it to their computer people. But I'm guessing it fell through the cracks - that time.

actually, i suspect its a legitimate email from them. i got one too, cuz tc signed up to work the 3 day a couple of years ago using my email address. here's the headers i got from my komen spam:

I'm sick and tired of spending HOURS filling out applications online only to find out its internal postings OR like last night.... It was a new job posted....even the top of the page said I was applying for THAT position...I spent hours filling out objectives and past work experience cause they didn't take uploads of resumes. ONLY to find out at the very end it says the job is no longer available! This was 2 am!!! how did they fill the job at that hour?!

Now this job paid well! I was perfect for it! &*%^%^^&)#$%^&*

I'm so sick of this!

I got my new job from just telling them that I was part black, part asian, part mexican and part american indian.

They were on to me because no indian would need to be looking for a job. :sheepish:

it IS tech easier but harder....

They seem to want more on-line filled out than in person to really weed out.

Some of the places would take just as long in driving and finding and paying for parking and then finding the HR dept in the bldg. and bugging them. Im not a good bugger.

I've applied at big corporations - Target, Ameriprise, Medtronic among many others that just walking in and asking for an application really feels weird. But is anyone doing this anymore? don't know.

I've gone IN to several employment agencies and met with a head hunter - but they arn't hooking me up either as much as I expected.

It's not like I have not been out there.

Just the big companies are going internal or online.

just about every companies web-site has a job page.

I want corporations not stores. I want to work for Caribou Corp not a Caribou - I want to work for a Best Buy Corp not a Best Buy. It's done different. yeah, if I want to go work for Target I'll go in and apply (and on their machines now-no person to person there either) but if I want to work for Target Corp I have to go online or through a headhunter.

Kinda irritates: A lot of co-workers coming up to me saying how happy they are for me with my promotion but sad that I'm leaving the main office and going back out into the field. :confused: :confused:

Lotsa hugs and tears and I'm not even gone yet.

don't they know that it's still that time of the month for me? :eyeroll: :wink:

I really am going to miss the office. You grown pretty close to people when you're working side by side everyday. I haven't really had that before. I always would bounce around and never really work next to anyone.

I went to Comcast to get another remote and pay the bill.

got talking to the staff - they say the ONLY way to apply with Comcast external is ONLINE. I couldn't go anywhere in the building and apply.
