Such toxic people are at all levels of the organization, and for some mysterious reason they seem to be protected from any consequences of their toxic words and actions.
I would still try to treat everyone respectfully, whether they deserve it or not, as it is "the high road", but I am too old to put up for very long with much of that kind of bullshit.
So, if you want to retain your team players, your hard workers, and your people who have the proper sense of urgency for getting things done, management needs to identify and weed out these toxic personalities. After that, any minor difficulties that may arise should be easily dealt with by the intelligent, reasonable, sane people you have chosen to work here.
I wish I had jobs to offer, but I failed to win the lottery. Though I understand it's hard to win unless you buy a ticket. Except for the UK lottery. I've never bought a ticket for that and yet have won several times according to the emails I get.
Its Funny you bring that up Some one at work Got a Check from the Uk Lotto and They are trying to figer out how to cash it with out going threw there bank!! lol
For the Ramsey County Fair I want to have a KIDS' ZONE on Friday and Saturday from 12 noon to 7pm
In this "Zone" would be hands on activities for kids along with entertainment on a small stage...
I am running out of time to get the vendors to fill this tent and if anyone has time during the day to make calls/inquiries for me I would appreciate it... I can give you all the details and some leads...
With 2 people from my dept being let go this week - I no longer have free moments during the day to make calls...

As many of you know I am BIG into volunteering and work closely with many Festivals and such. I also have begun my own event planning business in which I already have 2 weddings to date and 4 more possibilities on the horizon....
With all that said I want to devote more time to this passion - but until the day when my business can pay the bills - I will need to have something on the side to help a little.
I currently work full-time and I am seriously thinking about going to part-time. So if anyone knows of anything please pass my way. I am looking for weekday hours - open to anything.
I got the 78 yo Mother-in-law set up a while back. She shut off the digital converter because she likes the 'old' channels better. It's going to be a rude awakening tomorrow morning for her.
I set a dvd next to one of those new converter boxes --- HARDLY bumped it at my aunts house and it was like tinkering with a cable - it twitched the tv screen (kinda knocking it off line). She says it happens all the time. So this conversion isn't perfect.
Twins win! Wrigley field was awesome! I'll post pics later tonight or tomorrow. Also, Reggie and I are trying to get some people together for disc on Sunday afternoon. We're thinking 4:00 at Acorn.
