you both must be in suburban districts. they must get out end of May early June. Even though mine start day after Labor Day, they don't get out til June 14th!

Seats at Jackson Browne were better than I expected - row six on the sides is more like row two. Browne was only about 30 feet away from us - unfortunately the stage subwoofers were only eight feet away. We brought earplugs, but when the bass player would hit a low note the speakers would part my hair. Good show - did a lot of stuff from his newest album that I'm only vaguely familiar with.

I have 14th row in that same section for thurs - hope I can find the tickets! Ive had them so long already.

6th row on the sides (Plaza 1 and 4) is actually 2nd row - they start at row 4

I think the numbers start at the aisles and move towards the stage - ours were 15 and 16 - basically end of the row seats along the stage rail. Nice to have room to stretch the legs, but all kids of people were constantly walking through there.

I was wrong about my seats when I thought we had row 14. It was seat 14! soooooo look at our seats for Casting Crowns the other night!!

look familiar? - ROW 6 seats 13 and 14 (with no one in 15 and 16 so we got to spread out)!! even had that same security guard next to us.

You sure were right on the 'thump' factor with those seats. And that was for a mellow band. I can't imagine what it sounded like during the kid Rock show we also went to. Man!

All in all a very fun fair each time I went out there. last nights talent contest in the packed stands was entertaining as well as the other grandstand shows we seen this year.

Seems like Octoberfests are getting earlier and earlier each year. Pretty soon they will be before Labor Day.

I hear ya - why do they, the Gasthaus Bavarian Hunter in Stillwater, host theirs so early? Who cares? It is the time to eat German food, drink beer and polka dance (the one dance I do :sheepish: ) So many of my old best friends are going to be there too...I can not wait! I'm off to California for the week and back Sat afternoon to go directly to the party.....hope to see some of you there too??!!

The real Oktoberfest in Munich actually starts Sept 19th and runs until Oct 4th. So, the Gasthaus isn't really doing theirs too early.

alot of them don't have free but then you have to be at one long enough to use it also!

lol and from the sounds of things Kc traveling partner is like I was when I was on the road you don't make money if the wheels aren't turning! :sillygrin:

I found that while on the road, all you need to do is stop near a cluster of motels and there are plenty of unsecured wi-fi's.

Hasn't really been the case for me. A few rest areas have wifi for free. Truck stops charge, not many motels by the ones I've been at.

A friend was there and said they moved that bus five times. So they pick the shoot with the best reaction?

Yup. Same with the empty limo. Back and forth back and forth They even had the family run up to the door of their new house and it was locked. On purpose so the camera crew could get into the house to shoot their reactions walking inside. They did that twice too and waited outside for what seemed to be a long time. Torturing these people.

but I'm guessing all is OK now that they're resting their heads in their new beds in their new rooms inside their new house. :cool:

That's pretty cool! Glad to see that kind of thing still happening the way the world is today.

Turns out they didn't even get to stay in their new house last night.

I drove over their this morning to get a picture of the house with the snow since they got the house yesterday on a nice day and the flowers get frost right off the bat. Security told me they didn't even get to stay there last night. They were NOT allowing people to view the house today but should be okay to drive by tomorrow (Sunday) after church.
