Pennys job will be open. She got a new job working for planning and economic development for St Paul! Starts the 19th. Hasn't told her work yet though. Shes having enough stress with her Dad right now.

Taco Bell Taco Salad. it's such a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't eat it but once or twice a year, but today looks like it's gonna be a 17 hr work day... so I'm treating myself to a grease fest!
I believe that is Top Thrill Dragster. The coaster cars get 'thrown' by a massive hydraulic accelerator on the ground to something like 120 mph in 3.8 seconds. It needs that speed to clear the 420 foot hill. Kingda Ka in Jersey is slightly taller, and slightly faster, but Sandusky is the Mecca of Coasters - I wanna go!
Something I noticed when looking that up on Wikipedia - they say because these coasters are open top with no windshields, they shut the ride down even when there is just a light rain. Apparently even tiny raindrops sting like hell if they hit you in the face at 120+ miles an hour... not to mention they're the biggest 'lightning rod' within 20 miles.
same thing here with expedition everest. we were the last trip on it one afternoon before they shut it down due to rain. 60 mph hurts. can't imagine 120mph though.
Enjoy: today is shaping up to be only a 11.5 hr day, and tomorrow should be around 12 (all on time and a half!!!!)

also enjoy: I am making porcipine meatballs and copper pennies for dinner tonight. My BF has been at work for what will be 23 hours straight when he leaves at 6 (he too is working OT today) and we are going to eat, and crash. both of us have to be at work tomorrow by 6.
I'm just happy I get to see him, even if it's only to sleep next to him.
Steve got a call this morning he needs to get a piece of equipment for the Makeover Team.. but he needs to go to Duluth to get it... Ben is so excited to spend the entire day in the car (cause he gets to drive over to the sight).
enjoy - Scored a nice penalty goal last night and totally faked out their goalie in doing so, it's so nice to run at a ball and then kick it left footed when every goalie expects me to go right.
My BF's boys are both sick but his daughter isn't. So they have split the kids up (He has the daughter, and she has the two boys) His girl is 9, and she came to our soccer game last night, and then we made dinner together and did stuff just the 3 of us.
Tonight, her and I are making pheasant with mushroom ravioli's in cream sauce for dinner for daddy.
She is such a good girl, and it's so nice to have time with just her.
Last night's game! Winning on both pull tabs and our number on the game. Getting little souvenirs from both the bar and the Makeover house. Great company. All is well in the world once again. Except for lack of sleep that is.
Getting lots of compliments on wearing my Vikings jersey yesterday and my Twins jersey today at work. :cool: Fun atmosphere. Lots of happy hour plans for todays big game.

then he turns back to his army men and the blue guys are getting their butts kicked by the green guys and out of no where he says "what's up mexican! oh you thought you could"

also enjoy - after this weekend being 104, it's a chilly 68 today. I for one am ready for winter. (or at least I say that now)
