One of the things I've been doing lately is writing a TV show with a friend, and a spot I wrote for one of the sponsors just got finished, and it's on youtube if you want to check it out. We're trying to get as many hits as possible so please share it/facebook it, whatever, so we can get as many hits as possible.
Doing my part to add to the hits. It's cute! But, I was convinced the woman in blue would realize that her blue necklace could have been both the borrowed and the blue item. But then, they wouldn't need Jet Blue, right?
Please send some prayers for a good friend and her family today. Her son is on life support and today they take him off. It's especially sad because he was in the hospital for hernia surgery and he went into cardiac arrest while there and was found too late by the nursing staff.
Thank you all for your prayers. Michael died this afternoon. It was peaceful and quick so I guess the prayers worked. He was a donor, so part of him will live on.
Baby Heath is still in Childrens hospital. He has an infection of some kind. They continue to run tests and cultures. Even after 48 hours on antibiotics he has a steady low grade fever with high spikes  poor kid is like a pin cushion
any idea where, k? we had meg in a year and a half ago for no fever, high white blood cell count, which resulted from a deep tissue strep infection. it took an infectious disease doc to make the utimate diagnosis after a c/t scan of her head. just something to look into.
Yuppers. They were playing House with me for over a week until the ID doc stepped in and threw in his thoughts. Glad he did. I was down to days not weeks when they finally got it right. :ooh:
Remember me having Acute Leukemia for a day? Sad I dropped those quacks in a 'heartbeat' I was all set for chemo when the cancer doc noticed that the others were too quick to jump to conclusions.
I ended up with Endocarditis. and was given a new heart valve instead of chemotherapy.
yup i remember it. i also remember thinking to myself saying to tc "wait a minute. how can they say that? i don't even remember hearing them doing a biopsy." now, i'm not an oncologist, but i know that a cancer diagnois is damn near impossible without a biopsy, a thought that didn't leave me with storm. although in his case we also had our assurances from the vet that it was the only thing his symptoms were consistent with, and this was the vet whose diligence gave us an extra year with a hamster.
Actually I do need a new primary doctor as mine has moved on to other things now.
We shared a tear together as we both grew with each other on this whole thing. I 'shopped' around for quite awhile until finding her. Now the shopping begins again. :frown:
So suppose you were gonna stay in a Bed and Breakfast in Eau Claire for a few days. What would you do for fun when you got there? Any cool places to go, good shopping and dining? Keeping in mind it is November, and I am staying out of the woods...
Hmmmm Been gone for awhile... At a bed and breakfast, so assuming no kids....in November so it will be cool outside...hmmmmmm I know what I would be doing for fun and it would require us never leaving the room!! :sheepish:
COming home on leave... I have not been gone long enough yet. Or so I've been told... I just left in February, seems like it was just yesterday... if yesterday was a lifetime ago.
I need a new career path, I don't like traveling anymore.
My daughter-in-law's grandfather fell helping a friend this past week and hit his head on cement. He is in the hospital in Duluth with a brain bleed. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He's a special guy.
Guy in front with peace sign looks like you.
