Fire sale at the 3M cafeteria today. I bought my girlfriend 20 bucks worth of lint rollers (her dog sheds a ton in her truck) that should last her a year.

Also got some microfiber dishcloths, probably will toss them in with christmas gifts.

Going to the new Crocs store at the Mall of America. They emailed me this grand opening thing for this weekend, and my girlfriend had been wanting a pair of vikings crocs, so I thought I'd go see if they had them, since I've been unsuccessful in finding them online or elsewhere.

I get there, find out they don't have the vikings crocs in my girlfriend's size, figures. Anyway, the salesperson hands me this little bag they're giving out, it's got a can cooler (what is it with can cooler freebies this year? I got a ton of them from all kinds of places) and a scratch off game piece, obviously a coupon deal to get you to buy something I thought. Anyway, I scratch it off and it said "Free Pair of Crocs". Of course, I figured there had to be a catch, like buy one get one free. So I go up and ask the sales staff and they freak out and said it's good for any pair I want in the store. Apparently out of all the scratchoffs they gave out today, they only had 4 free pair giveaways including the one I got.

Didn't get my girlfriend her vikings crocs though, oh well, I got home and did find the right size of those on ebay, so all is good I think.

I had hoped to get the Mario Batali Edition (Orange of course), but, of course they also didn't have my size in those. And of course the coupon was only good for this weekend. So I just settled on a pair of those winter crocs with the liners in them. They're actually pretty warm, nice to wear around the house now. What's better is I didn't pay anything for them

Enjoy: Reassessing a possible irritates and turning it into an enjoy. Even though having a terrible hangover at work this past Wednesday with all the running around in the snow, I can only think that the night before could have turned out pretty bad for a couple of us.

Thanks for the rescue sis

kc, these are offical Crocs - they look big to me....look brand new too- size 8 mens/10 women. The store was closed today (Sunday) Open Monday 9 to 5pm. They are $10 and on the top shelf above some clothes on hangers near the changing room. Personally I think they are meant to be yours.

Those are perfect for KC! Nice find, me2.

Is Animal Arc a thrift shop? I love thrift shops. Haven't been to that one.

yes, you can donate "your crap/other peoples treasures" to this place near the corner of E 7th St and Arcade. They are owned by the Animal Ark in Hastings. All procedes go to the animals. The people who work there are volunteers (cranky old bat women volunteers) but I found a beautiful pair of champaine glasses for New Years Eve and .... REMEMBER those posts about how many hours I spent searching for multi colored Christmas lights? They had alot! oy vey!

All Christmas stuff is 50% off (well unless the mean ladies decide certain items arn't).

Its located where there was a thrift store there originally.

That's the beauty of thrift shop shopping when you find something there that's been discontinued that you really, really want! I'm on the hunt for a Foley Fork from one of those places. Nice mixing fork that isn't made anymore. One of these days one will show up. People pay around $40 for them on Ebay.

Making a fresh waffle in about the same time it would have taken to toast an eggo.

Seriously, I'd never go back to eggo waffles again.

A product called Batter Blaster (I know, ridiculous name, if I were the marketing department, I would have changed it). Essentially it's like those spray cans of whipping cream, only it dispenses pancake/waffle batter.

To top it off, just signed up on their website, and won a prize pack.

Congratulations!

You have won todayÂ’s Batter Blaster Facebook Twitter Challenge! Your Batter Blaster breakfast party package will include

v 1 Batter Blaster t-shirt

v 3 VIP coupons for free cans of Batter Blaster

v 1 Waffle Bar suggestion card

v 5 Batter Blaster informational postcards with fun recipes to try out with your family and friends

v Some Batter Blaster balloons; to make the party a party!

Please respond to this email with your preference in Adult (S, L, XL or XXL) or Youth (S-XL) size t-shirts and we will get this package right out to you!

Thanks again for participating!

I have a bar of it, almost used up now. I'm not sure if I've noticed being more awake during the day or not, but don't really notice the effects of caffeine in general though.

Peppermint scent is kind of weird for a soap... Cool idea for the caffeine and all though. I'm not too used to glycerin based soaps either, but it doesn't generate much lather. Is that normal for that type of soap?

We've tried batter blaster and its sweet. I actually like it I just don't like the whip it from the can type thing. Seems fake and not good for you.

I thought it was more of a crepe than a pancake or waffle thickness. It did taste good though and the kids liked it.
