Hey Hey...first time here this year and was hoping I could get some background, has anyone considered highland because it IS the 50th anniversary and highland was the original place of hiding?
Also, I think the golf course/statue remark doesn't have anything to do with it, just kind of a disclaimer that goes out every year. I myself wouldn't look to deep into it
Highland is much too obvious. People hunt there by default just for the sake of hunting. It might be a small obscure parcel of land tucked away in some corner of the city.
Even if highland is "too obvious"...its so big it wouldn't matter...they could tell you outright in the first clue its at highland and it would still take 9 clues before someone found it...thats why it's a "tougher duel"
the clue maker wants a lot of people to look this year since it was found so fast that year. When everyone figures out the park there has to be enough room for all of us. In 99 at conway it was crazy, i'm not set in my ways of a big park but i just can't see it at a little park

not to be disagreeable, but why is highland any more obvious than any other park at this point.
Lots of folks are thinking Hillcrest right now for a variety of reasons I am too tired to post. It is near Highland.
because a fair amount of people look at the first and second clue and always come up with highland or como

I was at Conway and it was fine, a little crowded, but fine. Tougher duel can mean harder park just as much as it can mean bigger park with more area.
