Very well written story. It is very difficult to explain the dynamic that is the cooler crew to the public but I think she did a great job. Hopefully some of the people that thought we were this big elitist fraternity read this story and realize they are welcome to join us.
I am telling you make fun of it all you want!!! And I am going to be laughing my way to life after all of you are Zombies!! Have a Z-Plan in place and you will go far!! but dont share or you wont make it out!!
There isn't anything people don't know about me. It was just a memorable time - make love not war, Woodstock, the Beatles, a couple experiments with substances, war protests, a presidential assassination, MLK's assassination, hippies, flower children, and my 1958 chevy with a hole in the floor board for disposing of beer cans.
Okay WTF! I don't make it into the cooler for a few days and I'm hundreds of posts behind. If I can't keep up now, what will I do during the hunt?
Don't if this is the proper place to post this or not.
The Pioneer Press called wondering if I had any ideas for stories that people would like to see leading up to the treasure hunt. Nothing comes to mind for me, but I thought I put it to the people who live and breath treasure hunting. If you have ideas or would like to talk to the Pioneer Press with story ideas, please let me know and I'll get you in contact with them.
something similar to the super-grid, but in article format, if that makes sense. like a small article giving little details like 12 times it has been shown by the third clue... or it has been a CoNo 42 times in the past 55 years...
How times have changed with the hunt. Like in the 50's, they would follow you around for a week like a celebrity, and now you literally get 15 minutes of fame and your done. I got more prime time than Jake did as far as the paper is concerned.
different tools people are using to dig for the puck. Tactics, etc. There has to be a way for them to find that out this next week.
I've read it. I picked it up for .25 from the bargain bin at Goodwill years ago. I think I loaned it to someone though and haven't gotten it back or I'd let you read my copy, CM.
It was a fun read. Millett mimics the Holmes style very well. He wrote a couple of other Holmes novels. The Rune Stone Mystery you see on the cover of the picture you posted and another about the Hinkley Fire.
There are 6 pictures
very nice story.
 :goofy:

I was hoping to find a certain Z-pal but no lock
What were you looking for a z-pal for?
park picks on saturday brad?? how is the order delegated?
Too many hard drugs in the 60's I guess.
Z-brain doesn't work Z-best anymore.

All I got, anyone else?
now, what have you done with Terry?
happened the other day too, infinity on 01/8/10
whats fun about today AND the 8th is that you can turn them upside down and they will give the same #
so even though 01/6/10 is a palindrome, it doesn't look the same upsidedown.
kinda works for 01/22/10 too?
WAY COOL!
I'm convinced that the internet is a thing of the past for the hunt...(sad when that statement comes from me) :frown:

I think it's gonna make me get in the mood to move from my house though. Also, hunting mood.
Terry!
I gotta read this stuff more often.
