Comparing my energy bills before and after the addition of more attic insulation and realizing that I am realizing significant savings each month since.
This month's bill is over $100 less than for the same billing period last year!
I do realize it is not as cold this year, and they say the rates are down a little bit, but I also have not been away as much as last year (and when I'm away, I set the heat down).
Logging onto work email on my day off (why I don't know) - but finding an email from a past co-worker sending me a link for a job posting - Event Manager..
Got a papasan chair today from Pier One in Maplewood. That store is closing, so they had some decent discounts, and I had wanted one for quite a while. It's pretty comfortable for sitting here surfing the web.
I have finally gotten my boyfriend remotely interested in the hunt.. he has been reading with me - it took me reading him john dillenger to get him interested (gangsters) but hey, anything works.
oh that and we've been drinking snowshoes. He is kinda warming up to the idea of schnapps and a freezing park. :wink:
