Not really sure of all of the details, and I imagine that it's not going to be laid until spring anyway, and I would guess that it'd be fairly plain - just the name? Big ups go to Sue - she's gotten a LOT of stuff for free for the family and has moved a lot of mountains for them.

this is just a suggestion, but maybe every year at the PDG - you guys could start a 50/50 raffle. Then during the hunt have coolers have tickets out in the park - make 'em $5 each. Sell to people that you see along the way - sell them in line at the paper - sell them at WC events.. word of mouth spreads fast...

then at the rehash bash - have a ticket drawn.

50% of the pot goes to the winner. 50% of the pot goes to Nicole. Most times the winner, just donates the other 50% anyway.

for 500 tickets my printing costs (I do one of these annually out here) are about 40 bucks. BUT... I have partnered with a local pizza joint, who PAYS me $100 bucks ($60 goes in the pot) and I put a $5 off coupon on every ticket for their pizza joint (perhaps work with Yarossos?)

They get exposure, and the people who bought the ticket get their $5 off of a pizza - so it's win/win/win

well, I have a 501c.3 -- or rather my club does... I don't think we are set to charter our twin cities club yet(YET!!) but I could always ask if they will let me run the dontaions throught it, since I am the foundation president still..

Most VFW's, elks, moose, masons, jaycee's etc are all 501c.3's.. are there any in the crew or who are close to nicole ?? churches also count. Most would be more than willing to help out by allowing a raffle to run thru them.

My Mason lodge I believe is a 501c3. Or if we did any other sort of fundraiser that was sponsored by them, the Grand Lodge would give matching funds.

Just as a reminder, if someone asks you how to donate, the easiest way to donate is to go to any wells fargo location and ask to donate to the Mark Evenson memorial. It goes directly into the trust.
