If you're a sports fan, or know of them and need a good gift idea, I'm doing a group order of jerseys from the manufacturer in China in the next week. There's a bunch of throwback jerseys and current player jerseys - I have about six from these guys and they're all really great. When you go through the website there is a bit of sifting that has to go on, they're a little slow on getting rid of old player jerseys, but there's good ones in there. Let me know if you're interested.
I'm surprised you could get in here from there. When Meg was in childrens a few tears back I couldn't get in here. Of course I was on the in house network and not the guest access one. Which was probably an it violation somewhere. Not that I let either of those things stop me. There are always ways around filters.
We can get in here from both guest and hospital puters. Pain is somewhat under control now. Still have some worries about next steps if I begin to bleed again now that they are using a heprin drip to thin out my blood again so I'm back at my safe level for my heart. Hopefully they can schedule a colonoscopy soon so its out of the way moving forward. I'm in such a daze right now. Weird thoughts and a feeling of being between sleep and daydreaming  :goofy:
So let's review: Safe heart level. Drugs. In a daze. Not sure if sleeping or dreaming. Jana's there...and someone's coming to stick something up your pooper. Just another Saturday for you, right?
Okay folks - debate of the week... Rent and Pay, or Buy and Stay
Got divorced and living in relative's basement - can't stay here forever...
Setup:
Job in rural WI is a stable one, but not a lot of income. Commuting 30+ miles to work and have done long commutes my entire life. I am still tied credit-wise to the divorce house until the market improves and ex can buy me off or sell it and break even. Won't be anytime soon.
Do I:
1) Rent something for six months/year and try for a new job elsewhere in the metro - then move accordingly- find a house and settle down.
Pro: Credit doesn't matter much.
Con: Rent is obscenely high - pretty much twice what a house payment would be. Places in my 'comfort' range are real dumps. I'd basically have to live in Rural WI with the cheeseheads - a fate worse than death.
2) Buy a House/Townhome in the Metro
Pro: Decent properties are affordable, even with the divorce credit problem
Con: Will string out credit and probably NOT be able to sell if a new job ends up being across town. Long commute again
If it were me, I'd live with the fam as long as all happy. I would never enter into another debt (house) as long as my name was on anither debit (house). Should your ex-wife lose her job you would be liable for house payments on orig property.
If me, I would lay low in the weeds and not make a job move until the econimy is better and I didn't have the joint worry of the orig house hanging over my head. She screws up or things go south for her, you're liable.
I would also look at gettting from under that liability ASAP. You make take a bit of a finaqncual loss... but what if she takes out loans against the equity? You are responsible for them.
Waiting is only good if both parties play fair. And from what you have posted her fam is not playing fair and out for blood.
My parents live in a mobile home park... maybe that's another option for you in the interim? Get a cheap mobile home and just stay there until you decide where to go and what to do. Getting rid of it should be pretty easy.
Can anyone find me a list of open/public access swimming pools that have diving boards / diving pits?
A TON of these local water parks have gotten rid of them for the little itty-bitty kiddie zero-depth water play zones. Almost impossible to find one in the East Metro. The Woodbury YMCA has a diving pit, but you have to be a Member or Guest of One - no public access.
I think Highland park may still have one indoors - the problem is that's a long drive from Hudson or Woodbury. I'm trying to find out if the local high schools have open pool hours - my guess is 'Not' since a lot of them are gearing up for fall classes and the kids are already using the locker rooms for training.
apple valley's water park at johnny cake ridge park has one. i tell ya i hadn't been off a diving board in years when we took all the girls there while cluey had his heart surgery. amazing how much difference the extra two feet make when you're used to bouncing off the bottom to surface again.
of course having been out of water for a long time my lung capacity wasn't what it use to be either.
We have a house in clear lake, Wi. up for auction in 2 weeks. Cheap! Like appraised at 75,000 and probably sell at about 1/2 that. Interested? Give me a call if you are. 3 acres single bedroom home with 2 garages and 2 pole barns and 2 other smaller structures.
not sure the condition but there were some couch type things at the church left over from their garage sale last weekend free for the taking. i'll check on my way home and holler your way if they're still there.
Enkneebudy able to work on cars? Electrical? Headlights not staying on and such. I do not have the money to pay. Please contact me privately. Thank you for even your consideration.
yes but its truely a piece of crap - at least to me.
Its a gas grill with no gas (think my neighbor stole the gas).
Its yours for the taking if you want it - you can even look at it and say no if you want. Just let me know. I need to get it out of my neighbors yard soon. Live over near Chair-O-Key *your favorite
Yeah... Chair-O-Key is my fav. What a year. What all that year wrought. Who'da thunk?
Though... Battle Creek is second as I was stuck there so long. BUT, I have come along way since then and are gettin' better at noodlin'. I think, enkneeweighs.
Am interested in your grill, but not gas-wise.
Gentlemen, is it possible to use a gas grill with charchol and not have the bottom burn/fall out??? Is it safe to use a gas grill wirh charcol?
Me2, thanks for the offer. I really appreciate it. THANKS!
I am asking this generally as you have more on your plate more important than a pan for a gill I might get. ((((((My Master)))))). Know I love you and am with you in spirit.
So... how do I find out about a pan, and COST?
All I want is a grill I can grill/smoke on that is not gas. Could give a ratz ass about looks. Just craving a 1" porterhouse, MR.
There are lips on the side of the grill that hold the pan up as well as some stands that go over the gas burners to keep the pan from sitting on them. So I guess there is are to it than just a pan. but there should be a converter dealio at some hardware store.
especially since cm ended up with appendix trouble.
Now to get Maddog moved.
good one RedBear

One day a guy dies and finds himself in hell. As he is wallowing in
despair, he has his first meeting with a demon...
Demon: Why so glum?
Guy: What do you think? I'm in hell!
Demon: Hell's not so bad. We actually have a lot of fun down here.
You a drinking man?
Guy: Sure, I love to drink.
Demon: Well you're gonna love Mondays then. On Mondays that's all we
do -
drink. Whiskey, tequila, Guinness, wine coolers, diet tab and
fresca... we drink till we throw up and then we drink some more!
Guy: Gee, that sounds great!
Demon: You a smoker?
Guy: You better believe it!
Demon: All right! You're gonna love Tuesdays. We get the finest
cigars from all over the world and smoke our lungs out.
If you get cancer - no biggie - you're already dead, remember?
Guy: Wow... that's awesome!
Demon: I bet you like to gamble.
Guy: Why yes, as a matter of fact I do.
Demon: Cause Wednesdays you can gamble all you want. Craps,
Blackjack, Roulette, Poker, Slots, whatever. If you go bankrupt...
well, you're dead anyhow. What about Drugs?!?
Guy: Are you kidding? Love drugs! You don't mean...
Demon: That's right! Thursday is drug day. Help yourself to a
great big bowl of crack, or smack. Smoke a doobie the size of a
submarine. You can do all the drugs you want - you're dead, who
cares.
Guy: WOW! I never realized Hell was such a cool place!
Demon: You gay?
Guy: No...
Demon: Ooooh (grimaces). You're gonna hate Fridays.
thanks
