DUDE I wouldnt go back to the Dive if you paid ME to go there! with the fact there always out of stuff and there prices are WAY to HIGH!!

and the fact that everyone I use to go to school with is there! thats why I am happy that we only have a class reunion once a year!

Slightly irritating, I've been checking my phone all weekend for the manual OTA upgrade to android 2.2

So far all I'm getting is "There are no updates available for your phone".

I guess HTC/Sprint is going to make me wait until the official August 3rd release date afterall...

I was really hoping to get it done over the weekend, when I could have spent more time on the process.

So we're talking about how we just missed meeting Adrian Peterson at this bar in mankato. We were bummed that we just missed him and thought that he would probably end up hanging out with our lucky friend Jake. Well guess what? We were right on target.

the company that makes that stuff (big sky), is owned by some guys that Carolyn is related to....

we had a chance to try out their entire line of products last summer, when they had a family reunion... pretty much anything you can find by them, is worth it.

IT Dept ... grrrr

As a past IT person - they always say, you understand, cut us some slack... but this time I can't!

I get the error msg not enough free space and so I am not able to save ANY work to the network where ALL my work is saved. I can't even make simple changes to current documents...

But IT its working on their priority of getting laptops ready for the incoming students so they don't have time to look at my problem...

So in the meantime I have to save the documents to my hard drive, but rename them the full length file name so I know where I need to place them on the network to replace the original file AND the part of my job that is 25% of my work I can't do because the exportation pc can't run because of the error msg... Let's just hope my computer doesn't crash - Then I will be REALLY upset..

Can't make it any easier for them - Luckily the supervisors of IT know me well enough that if I am coming to them with a problem, then its serious and they need to look at it.

So yes - Mgt IT called me shortly after my conversation with the help desk and apologized - they had a problem with the firewall last Friday and the solution ending up re-setting everyone's limits - no big deal for most. But because I do have IT background and I do know what I am doing - IT gave me a higher limit so I can solve problems for them in the administrative offices.. when they fix the firewall problem they forgot to re-set my higher limit.

The bozo that closed Shepard road today. Took me 1/2 hour to get out of downtown and the water is still way low. Have to make other arrangements the rest of the week. :coolfrown:

The water is not going to stay low - if you saw what the Minnesota is washing downstream, it will jump up pretty fast.

Staying up till 3am to make a stupid webpage do something it should have had built in anyway. *sigh*

Well it was a learning experience anyway. I didn't want to have to make a greasemonkey script just for a one time live change to html code so I could make an internal link redirect to an intended location (thank you social network APIs..). Tinkering around with google chrome, I was able to actually make that change via inspect element.

It sucks though after learning that much, I was able to do what I wanted in about a minute of work. So much for getting anything else I wanted done tonight.

Feeling worse now than I've felt since I've been in the hospital for the last week. This sucks. Second night in a row that I felt that I was a gonner. :angry: :confused:

Brad, I wish I could help. I hope they are calling in the proper consults to get to the bottom of this, including infection control. I've seen too many people this summer who had appendectomy or bowel surgery and then they suffer with unusual post-surgical pain, and just because their labs aren't off the charts, no one considers there could be an infection. Maybe that is not at all what is going on, I'm only making an educated guess. I'm sorry you are going through this. For what it is worth, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We speculated (no, that's wrong - speculating is what gynecologists do) that it was the colonoscopy department. But it wasn't - it was where people went to smoke on break.

I came in here to bitch about how life has just been 'shitty' lately only to find myself smiling at your posts (and taglines ares). Things do suck pretty bad but I'm alive I guess. Whatever that means at this point. I'm trying to stay positive. Just tough is all. No progress whatsoever. Backwards if anything. Although I do get to appreciate 1 to 2 hours of feeling ok per day. I haven't been posting a lot because I've been busy with life, which has been pretty crazy. About a month and a half ago I got to go to my baby's ultrasound to find out I'm going to have a daughter, which I'm super excited about. What irritates me though is that the relationship with her mother has really deteriorated to the point where I'm having to look at legal options. I tried to work on our relationship but after one incident she basically didn't want things to work for us. We met one night to discuss visitation and custody. I want to be very involved with my daughters life and share in custody. She didn't agree and basically told me that she would contact me after the baby is born. I've given her some space and written her a letter explaining my thoughts and reasoning behind the visitation and custody I was seeking. No response though in almost two weeks. I am going to keep trying because I don't want to miss her birth and go through all this legally, but it really irritates me that she is acting like this and using our daughter as a pawn instead of truly acting in the best interest of her and putting any differences between us aside.

That sucks TMK very sorry hope things get better for you.

people don't have to be that way. she is bringing drama and heartbreak on that isn't needed. sorry you are having to deal with such immaturity and not the best interest of the new baby. babies, kids, teens and in to adulthood need male and female guidance and influence. good luck in these next couple of months TMK.

seriously doing a seating chart is not that hard when you know how to work the process and are organized - especially when you are only seating 65 people...

you know that I'm a whiz at doing it - you have asked for my help - I set it all up and its ready to go... yet why do you go off on your own and try to do it without all the pieces or tools I gave you? So now your flustered and upset and now want me to sit with you through the process when its quitting time!! :angry:

This was all suppose to happen over 4 hours ago so I could be seating the other 130 people you don't care where they sit and then printing all the name tags! Its going to be a long night! :eyeroll:
