Dont give me any Ideas on the copper lol! I can find LOTS OF COOPER!! in a APT.!!
JK Kool I am starting to collect CANS!! lol I will have tons of weight in no time here at the APT. you would think in Minnetonka there would be some beer snobs here and they would drink out of a Bottle! lol I know I do and AM!
Yeah, I've noticed that. I won't be posting on either of the PP boards anymore unless I find it again... and that will be FUN. BBMTN won't be getting his "answers" from me, and I just had lunch with Rob on Tuesday and it doesn't sound like he'll be getting his "answers" from Rob as well.
I'm curious. Who is BBMTN? I mean I don't want his name. But, is he a young kid? Delusional? Old man? Why is he disgruntled? Does he really feel like Jake is in cahoots with the PP? Is he going to bring an automatic weapon to the pre-dig? (I say that jokingly).
We know little about him, except for the fact that he is gay, in his late 20's, loves American Idol, and lives in Eagan. I've got a good, reliable source that I'm saving for any potential rainstorm that might occur in the future.
I think she is just really hurt. Somehow she didn't feel included in our bundle of fun and is resentful. I've met people who really want to feel accepted into the CC and have their voices heard. When they aren't, for whatever reason (maybe they are stupid, maybe they are annoying, maybe we're all just too preoccupied to chat), they grow to hate us.
A proper 1911 is a joy to shoot. Twas a shame our NATO allies convinced us to go to 9mm for interchangability of ammo. The only branch of service that currently uses the 1911 is the Marine Corps. That's because they're the people who need small arms to go bang every time. And they are first there anyway--no one to switch ammo with at that point.
Mind you, white box Winchester 9mm is a heck of a lot cheaper to spend the day punching holes in paper.
Just a note to one of our favorite hunters on the boards. We appreciate your posting the clues and staying up late, etc. every year...just like a clock...dependable too. A word of thanks are in order from everyone who benefits...
VG:) Good luck to everyone this year and hope to see you in the parks..but it WILL be during the day for me...
P.S. that's why I'll be dreamin about it for a long time to come...most likely, but I might get lucky if someone on the night crew kicks it out into a.......say stream????..ha ha..nothing personal to the stumblers from '09. Hey, luck is luck...
VG:) feel like one of the horses at Canterbury (the ones in the gate),
hope I don't go through too much popcorn this year...or I'll look like one too..oh no.....where's Mad Dog...I'm lonely for everyone...Swath? you there? Hello, Hello,,,,testing...
I am supposed to start my contract job Monday, but have hit what may be an impasse in the contract.
While the hiring manager never mentioned start-up costs I would be expected to bear (and we did discuss costs and reimbursements in our verbal agreement - this is as much a surprise to her as to me), they now want me to agree to fund things that could significantly diminish my compensation. Unfortunately, a hard-ass HR person got Legal involved and they are taking a hard line on all the contract language. I am usually a good negotiator, but feel like I am coming up against a hard, cold wall of steel here.
I should know more today about whether this job is going to fly, but meanwhile, if anyone is hiring technical writers, or clinical research people, please let me know! Thanks!
Sucks that I moved here to take this job. But I do want to be here, so I guess I just have to accept that I may be pounding the pavement starting next week.
My extent of participation in the PP boards is creating a 'Clues and nothing but the Clues' thread which I proceed to lock out instantly after every clue typed in to prevent riff-raff from side input. I think the thread I did last year was #3 or #4 overall for most times viewed.
I have decided to not post on the crazy board anymore as it will be a never ending battle trying to defend myself and Jake about how we supposedly cheated.
Saying that, I really hope a CC member finds it this year again. That would be rocket fuel to the fire over there.
OK, game on again. Before I had a chance to e-mail my new boss, she went to bat for me and got the objectionable stuff knocked out of the contract. Now she will get it signed by their VP, and once that is done we will know my start date - should be next week sometime, but won't be Monday.

He is back to normal, what a trooper.
Makes me think of my grandma and how she refers to #2
The only good hunt near me.
