I think they dropped in in melted snow (water) while we had that heat wave just before the hunt and then when it got subartic again we now have ice. Are there any parks that have had any sort of excavating in the past Gravel, sand, something?

ok but any sign would have to be on the ground because it says to step off the math.

This one makes my head hurt....

The math and Prime location (number) could be two parallel lines = and 11 or something else odd

"The Prime Meridian is the meridian (line of longitude) at which the longitude is defined to be 0°.

The Prime Meridian and its opposite the 180th meridian (at 180° longitude), which the International Date Line generally follows, form a great circle that divides the Earth into the Eastern and Western Hemispheres."

the houses nearby have low prime numbers.... they use a house number reference once.. I believe conway.
Tue, 01/25/2011 - 10:15 PM Permalink
tom

Why would they use an other house refrence number at Conway again? Wasn't it conway they outed a house number back in the 90s?

Phalen Park use to have the old Childrens hospital there- which would explain the + in math.

"Step off" is also a carpentry term."You step off the length...etc." for every 12-inch step in a common rafter, a hip rafter has a 17-inch step. This could relate to a house and clue 2 also mentions steps and doorsteps. Must be some kind of house somewhere or reference to one?

Allison Wonderland

The house at Conway was 459.

"Why would you show yourself playing with an upside-down blow-up doll then beat the crap out of it in a restroom, then show an owl? There has to be a reason."

Water to ice is a fitting price

To pay for this prime location

To me this says its on frozen water ie a lake, stream, or pond.

From the path, pace off the yet-to-given number of steps to The Med (the resting place being the prime location) which is in a frozen chunk of ice (that at one time was was water).

What gets me about this clue is what Terry alluded to - can't see the paths for the snow cover. So I'm thinking The Clue Writer either has Mappy's book, or somewhere on can get/view a map, like at the Parks' site.

Also, the path could be a public sidewalk (which would already be cleared, but that's neither to or fro.)

witchdoctor

The number of steps off the path is 32.

do the math -- water to ice. [32 F].

Prime location could be Mississippi River Blvd.

Ice vultures hang from the bluffs on both sides of the river.

Not that math is a strong point of mine... :goofy:

I like the way you reached 32 and I think it works. Fits.
