The TLC Reality TV show "My strange obsession" is about a man's love affair with a blow-up doll. Seriously. So Goodhue is a head of the time. The restroom reference may tie in with that foot-tapping guy at the Mpls airport?
I dunno, I'm tired and have a BAAAAAD headache, so probably not thinking clearly.
Water to ice made me think of FROST. I've not scouted parks at all yet this year, and have no helpful insights that haven't been posted already.
Of course, I'm always one to find *something* along the routes I normally drive, so Monday, I was keeping an eye out down by the high bridge (Goodhue and Cliff street) - nothing you could really call a park, but there is a walking path overlooking the river....and the really big green chair on the other side of Smith. <sigh> But so far, nothing is jumping out at me.
Lots of good noodles, but more the kind like "yeah, that could fit" -- at least in my fuzzy head.
Time will tell, I guess....hopefully tonights clue will give something that makes more sense to me. I don't think I've really been able to zero in on a park early since the Conway hunt. Clues just aren't written for *me* anymore.
I doubt this. I walked down it on Saturday and Monday. It's very walkable, but it hasn't been plowed for some time. It's packed down. It wouldn't be easy to plow out. I will be going there at 3:30. I will report back if it's open.
Just cause it's not open, I wouldn't rule it out. 32 degrees as in temp or 32 degrees as an angle?
Well being a math guy with a degree in Civil Engineering I can tell you that it is much debated amongst scholars if 1 is prime or not... Technically 2 is the first prime.

A prime number (or a prime) is a natural number that has exactly two distinct natural number divisors: 1 and itself. The smallest twenty-five prime numbers (all the prime numbers under 100) are:
I seriously doubt any validity to any 'paces from' ANY marker by the fourth clue. As far as I can tell they've never given X paces from anything this early in the hunt. I'd love to be proven wrong, but I don't think it's been done. It's just too specific.
I posted as History under posts on that site telling them at least 3 or 4 that were misplaced. Marydale, State Capitol, 35e at Victoria that was found at 35e across the river.
When do we think it was actually hidden? Is that ever released? I ask because it would be helpful to know which 'layer' of snow it's in. Anybody that's been digging already knows what I mean.
hunt rough is job description for "rangers"
rangers are not touchy-feely.
load up now and be foretold
dispatch ye deep into ice and cold -- dispatch == quickly end or bury

PRIME JOE!!! (Thanks, Diggorius Rex, for the idea!)

It's more evenly aligned with roselawn and frost aves.
1 has only one distinct natural divisor that yields itself or 1.
What the debate says to me is that we'll never know which way the clue writer is thinking.

Prime numbers have only TWO DISTINCT divisors.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.
DUMB!
There are an infinite number of hiding spots that are 32 paces from a
path. The path and marker will be revealed in later clues.
Hidden Falls alone has 6.7 miles of paved trails. To shovel it all
would be like doing a sidewalk 13.4 miles long.

Just a Twain reference...in case anyone has a park near a major river...
I can't think of ANY.
the "nearest path" is in the 4th line To pay for this
2 pa 4 th - 2+4=6
It doesn't help.
32 paces from a path wouldn't be giving too much away IMO.
