I will be at Yarussos. better meal and drink specials.
ABB has none.
Welcome da newguy mkoskie15!
First thing I thought about the King and Queen was that usually there is a big difference in age. I see one was back in the 50's and the other was in the 80's so they must be in their 70's now. Cool Romantic come together story.
talk about taken this hunt slow and at a pace... I've usually been in a park 3 days ago. My top 3 from day 1 are still my top 3.... gggrrrrrr.
If it weren't during the hunt, I could totally see him dumping time into something like that. I think that he is probably out hunting somewhere and it is probably someone else.
I'm out in a park and thought I would check in on the crazy board.
Apparently there is a thread about it being found. Turns out that someone says I'm at the press with the medallion. Huh I hadn't known that I found it...
So, I was at Harriet today. Markedly less people there today than yesterday. I have not been anywhere else yet. As many times as I research individual words, anagram, or anything else, I can't find out anything that can point to an individual point anyhow.
Just for sake of clarity, and to sum up ideas in a concise manner, anyone who feels like sharing, will you please put your ideas for each park, pros and cons. Let's get a list consolidated
Last year on clue 6 they definitively named Lilydale. It wasn't until clue 8 that the grain elevators were referenced. I guess things are shaping up as they should although it seems slow going, like I should be digging somewhere with some conviction by now...
I've been trying to find a captain/ship correlation somewhere. thanks for this one- don't know how it exactly fits besides a ship and a park. WAS this technically a 'steady ship" and aren't we looking for the captain? However, I am with you on HF.
Here's a thought... "winter lovers of like mind" are people of St Paul and Montreal. St Paul got its idea of the Winter Carnival from the people of Montreal who already had their own Winter Carnival.
Montreal Avenue of course runs along Highland Park.
OMG! The crazy board is funny as hell! Look at this sample:
That pondish area connected to Crosby Lake is called "Upper Lake." Stiff upper lip=upper lake?
Crosby is also where winter lovers meet, MEN lovers, where men can be men.
Also, meet could equal MEAT. Perhaps PRIME meat. Where would prime meat come from? A farm. Crosby Farm. As someone pointed out, Bing Crosby sang about roasting chestnuts.

The hunt is on possible 1/2 over tonight :frown:
mostly a bore this year, how did the CW know?
But really, do you think it is Jake?

I still like HF but the gate is still closed so I guess I will go to COMO

Although, I kinda have a one tracked mind on HF right now.
"minding our Q's and P's"... there's an expression about this, but it's backwards. Could there be some significance to this?
I'd really like to not read the clues backwards
Days of yore = prior...HF
