It is sort of interesting how many different parts of the park the clues have referenced, including the pool area excavation. Maybe they haven't pinpointed it yet.
Ry and I were at the PP and trying to track this down with others using our phones... didn't quite get there because I was looking up Shaggy DA not Shaggy Dog-- didn't know there were 2 movies or that Trail of the Lonesome Pine was a movie. I agree this does definitively tell us the park. I don't think we know the area though-- I would be surprised if it was actually in the McMurray Field area. There is a lot of fake turf there that they would not want damaged and on top of it are tons of ice rinks.
If any of you have an account on the crazy board, now is the time to try and bury the thread called Clue 6 (real) because they have figured out MacMurray
I totally fucked up in my a few beers in at the bar status. I just said the Shaggy Dog was in 61 when it was really 59 when the Absent minded prof came out. Oops. That's a post edit and hope no one catches on.
Meh, the clue leaching bastards over there will figure it out by morning anyhow.
I love how the crazy boards have not come even close to Como being the right park. They've got as far as the shaggy dog and McMurray but that's it. No Flubber, no lonesome pine. I love it.
Just noticed that the SS Swordfish torpedo thingy was dedicated by the Minnesota Viking Squadron... Maybe Brett was the tie in, when we didn't get it the first time?
Being brought up twice, (in my mind's clue decipherings anyway) I'm thinking this area may be the area of interest, but then again the Swordfish sunk, thus suffering the agony of da-feet... That said, should we stay away from the area?
Where is the cluewriter? If he could answer just a few quick questions for me I'd be all set.
Me think's I'm going to have to admit Da Feet...me thinks you might be right and it's Como.... I'd still have rather had an out of St. Paul Park....I get tired of the same parks over and over again...
I was talking to Tim about it and he thinks because of the parking restrictions they were basically forced to put it in a big park, even though this would be the year of a smaller or more unusual park.
well, the SS Swordfish is in the Beulla Zone, McMurray Field is in the Pool zone. across from each other, but need to focus on one area or the other. i wonder which one
But the bear is either in the zone with the lake or the zoo. The 3200 steps is in the one with the lake. I think they are just park pointing and not location pointing.
Since when have they bothered about Parking restrictions... Did you see Lilydale last year or Central or any number of hunts where parking was an issue and tickets were given out? What about Highland? It hasn't been there in YEARS thats a big park or any number of large parks out in Ramsey County?

Thank you.

Official song:
From the tables down at Half Time,
To the place where Schmitty dwells;
To those dear old campus bars
We love so well.
Sing the Little Pigs assembled,
With their glasses raised on high,
And the magic of their voices cast in spell.
Yes, the magic of their voices
And the songs they love so well,
While weÂ’re wasting and cavorting
Like the rest;
We will serenade our Buca,
While life and breath shall last,
And then pass and be forgotten
Like the rest.
Chorus
The Saint Paul Pigs are on the piss again,
On the piss again, on the piss again,
The Saint Paul Pigs are on the piss again,
Bastards all are weÂ…
We are poor Little Piggies,
Who have lost our way.
Oink. Oink. Oink.
We are bad Little Piggies,
Who have gone astray.
Oink. Oink. Oink.
Gentleman songsters all are we,
Doomed from here to eternity.
Lord have mercy on such as we.
Oink. Oink. Oink.
I love it

Plus the pool is being replaced.
Gut feeling in the trees along Lexington.
