We have some awsome noodlers here on this board! Pilotshatguy, 40 below, nimrod, Queen, and Lellebell, just to name a few. You guys are the best! You Rock!
Feeling sorry for myself this morning! I didn't get out to hunt, to Yurussos, to the paper line or anything! Today was going to be the day! On the other hand if Deb and I would have went we would have been at the wrong park - Como! :crying:
Thanks to all of you for all your great noodles and for being so nice!
All I have to say is.....SUCKS IT JUST SUCKS!!!!!! I stupidly came home at 3am and should have stayed out there. I guarntee it wasn't buried. There is NO WAY! Battle Creek is huge, I grew up in that park and the row of pines from sterling and grace that lead down to the dam is perfect setting but I'm sayin it now: it was probably by the waters edge in something: my guess is a treasure box of sort (chestnut) for the first hunt.
I WANT A REDO WE DIDN'T EVEN GET ONE WEEKEND THIS SUCKS! :angry:
Ugh! I'm heartbroken. I didn't get a lot of time to post/noodle and get to know you guys again. I've been out of the loop for so long.
My husband actually had a Saturday off to go hunting with me, that NEVER happens. I was hoping for today at the very least. I guess I'll have to settle for Twins Fest today...ballpark food will make it better.
I even bought a new ice chopper for the occasion... :sad:
Well you people sure know how to ruin my morning. I was thinking it was lined up with some streets or streets, maybe white bear ave. I'm guessing it's on the east/south side of the ravine up the hill a ways.
I did like the clues. I think they fit both Como and BC equally well and this would have been a great hunt. However, it clearly wasn't hidden very well. Or, the finders got really lucky, digging in feet of snow, in the dark.
We'll keep an eye on the board and see what comes up we'd planned on going down to the cities today anyway.
We also thought it would go longer with the snow - such an opportunity for a good long hunt! I even took days off next week so I could be there for all the hoopla - bar, paper, night digging - new lanterns and led lights were ready to go for tonight. I feel abit lost on what to do with myself now.
I too am a little upset. This is more bad then the Coco and Moca, 2 days earlier. If your going to out a park this early, atleast make sure you hide the puck very very good. Oh well, hopefully the people that found it just said what they thought to see if the PP says yes.
I thought for sure this would go to the end with the deep snow. I had wistful memories of Como in 97 when there was a good amount of snow and we were all digging digging digging with lanterns and headlamps and ... :crying:

@Eags, Keys is there.
The #pptreasurehunt medallion has been found -- by a former Winter Carnival bouncing girl, no less. Near ski jump in Battle Creek.
I work to keep an open mind and thinking of all options, but I couldn't make some things fit elsewhere until I got solid on one park.

Boy I hope it was in the snow. Total shame if it wasn't.
