Many of us will be at the Vulcan Victory Dance the night before so getting up and to re-hash will be rough...expect sun glassses.
I think you just did
We woulda had about 24 hours to do it. Saturday morning the news was out about the find. At least if it were found between Sunday and Thursdays clue 12 everyone knows the following Sunday is re-hash. It's also been planned for many years to be the same day as Super Bowl so many can plan a day of Re-Hash and then Super Bowl in the evening.
Also the venue at Newell has to be reserved a week in advance. It was already reserved for Feb 6th.
No wonder I didn't know what you were talking about.
If the hunt goes the distance, people need time to recoop a bit, get regular Saturday chores done (laundry, cleaning), time to grocery shop and plan what they are bringing, prepare said groceries, and attend the torchlight parade with their families they may have been neglecting the past two weeks.
I don't remember what year the Super Bowl started happening the same day, but it wasn't always so.
Looks like SB XXXVIII (2004)

I am at least bringing a print out to post of the 2 that need homes.

Dressy? Casual?
Best parking options (female alone downtown - looking for closer and safer parking)?
What time does the event begin?
OK, so...are people going to this right from the parade? Or is there time in between to go home and change out of the cold weather gear and into something a little dressier? Anyone planning to grab a bite to eat, or is there food available for purchase at the event? For those of us who haven't done this before, it would help a lot to know how things roll.
The VVD website is a little bit confusing - does this event start at 8PM and dancing starts at 8:30PM?
I opened it in a new window try this....
