Went on an online Dating site, and saw a dating profile of the cute neighbor girl from junior high. She's living on the West coast as a successful author, but thought it was interesting SHE actually hunted up MY profile and found it.

My BF calling me to tell me that he just pulled over the EX-CEO of my company and gave him two tickets. (speeding and cell phone) The funny part of all of it? They were chatting and after Glenn told him, where I worked, dude totally tried to pretend like we were friends to get out of the ticket.
Phone tickets out here are about $225 when you pay all the fines, and other stuff. His speeding ticket, I think he said was 85 in a 65.. so prolly around $375-$425 depending on the county..
I have two enjoys... One is my BF. He got me a really cool Nikon S80 camera - if anyone of you have one, I can use all the advice you got for me, because it's way smarter than anything I've ever owned.

I've seen that in the cafeteria at work. Always wondered what the deal was with it.. it just looked like cake to me.
Also ever since I happened to come across a red velvet donut hole a month or two ago, now I'm seeing red velvet cakes most places I go (Can't say I cared much for that though).
Red Velvet is big around the holidays and Vday... because it's red. Not a fav of mine, although I know some people who love it. There is a cupcake place here called Sift that won cupcake wars for something dumb a few weeks ago - their RV cupcakes are the "IT" thing for weddings. Like it's some sort of status symbol.
Champagne cake in general is not anything to get excited about. They custard is made with champagne, and it has a lightness about it you don't normally see. Several of our grocery stores sell it, and they are usually neon pink eyesores... Butter Cream Champagne cake (if any of you travel to Napa, CA) is amazing, and the best thing I've ever eaten. I'm not even sure it's the cake that makes it so good, it maybe their secret whipped cream rather than butter cream (go figure given the name) frosting.
All I know is, I can eat prolly half a sheet cake by myself... and I don't even like sweets.

Was recognized yesterday at an all staff meeting for my 5 years here at Dunwoody.. My boss tried to be funny and after calling me up to the front said, "why dont' you take the certificate and I'll keep the gift"..
The president then took the mic back congratulated me then replied "I think Mark you should keep the certificate, give her the gift and give her something more for her having to put up with you for 5 years!"
never ever having to worry about being a daddy again! sue's hysterectomy went well. the one "unusual" fibroid looks to be benign (pathology will know for sure on wednesday, but i figure the doc's done this enough that he can tell, and since he wasn't going to originally have time to come tell us on his own, that's a good sign). hopefully she'll be back home on wednesday where we can take good care of her.
thanks everyone, the doc came in and talked to sue this morning (finally). plan is to break her out tomorrow sometime. he confirmed to her that there's nothing to worry about. yay!
in other good news i ended up with a couple of people in bidding wars over the pair of cheeeeeaaaapp acer aspires that used to be the kids' laptops up on ebay. managed to get $320 for the two of them. Not bad considering they were originally only 350 each.
I have had it since july when I threw the original at them and told them where to stick it. Not bod. Pretty functional. The older it gets the more bugs. Lag time etc.even though I clear the memory. The apps are insane and the speed is adequate.

wasn't sure if i should put it in irrates thread or not...
but I really did enjoy standing in line for 5 hours with two little girls to see this guy...
I was also amazed how all the little kids around me acted so great....
I just 5 hours of just chatting and talkin' with them about nothing at all....
but man was a long day on my feet and really nailed my pocketbook standing in line next to two food stands...
