I'm hoping you guys can help me. My Mom's Obituary is running in tomorrow's Ma Press (7/17) - If any of you would be willing to cut it out and mail it to me, so I have extra copies, I'd appreciate it.

I tossed around the idea of going to the Vali-Hi Drive-In movies this weekend on Facebook, but since it was a real steam bath, and I've already seen Harry Potter and Transformers, my heart really wasn't in it.
Keep the idea of maybe doing it sometime in August. Plan on getting there about 6:30-7ish to find a good parking space, and staying up late. I have a virgin portable propane grill ready to be defiled. Bet 'Cowboys and Aliens' will be one of the regular movies next month.
Thanks everyone! I appreciate it. A friend from highschool out here now lives in saint paul and his wife works in circulation and is trying to get me a few extra. You guys are the best!
Ok after 1 year of being unemployed I finally got a response to a resume I sent out, I am doing a sample book cover and laying out 1 chapter to try and get a freelance gig doing book design work. Been busting my hump and I am almost done with it so I can send it in early.
Being retired has it's good side...no job hunting....then again we have the governors of several states trying to kill off the seniors by taking away the pensions of retired public employees. I think Scott of FL is related to Walker of WI!
For those of you who have connections/cabins in WI, this breaking news (LOL)...Just heard from DH...he finally saw an elk!! Big male with a rack. WI got a herd from MI several years ago to re-introduce them here in WI. We always watch for them when we are in the area where they live, but have never been fortunate enough to see one. In MI We have only seen 2 (at one time) in 36 years of traveling that area. They are very elusive. They have Elk Crossings on HWY 77 east of Hayward near Clam Lake and that is where he saw one, right at a crossing.
I saw that sucks I think the real unemployment rate is some where around 20% if you gauge it the same way they did in the great depression I just read this book the sad thing is we never lean and are doing just what caused the great depression all over again The Forgotten man
Today, our area manager comes by to review a video of a guy who burned his hand opening a hot radiator cap. He stayed 4 hours reviewing video to nit-pick everything that happened for the past few days.
I am all for the video - it is great for injury reporting, it can be used as a training tool, but to use it to go back and try to find something that you did wrong seems just wrong...
We connect kids in the Twin Cities metro area with the concept of national parks, and particularly the Mississippi River," said Brian Valentine, a park ranger who leads Junior Ranger programs along the river. "A lot of the kids that live here, they drive over it, and they never get to think about the cool things they can do along the river." The park service's Valentine said the Junior Ranger programs focus on the national parks where they are held. He added that the programs are meant to meet kids' interests and provoke their curiosity in hopes they will connect with the parks.
"If we don't get kids outdoors and involved, the subsequent generation may or may not care about the places that we (care about)," Valentine said.
Where is that, ESD?! Right at the public library? Owatonna is not close, but I bet my 16 year old would LOVE to see it too. Looks like it would be worth the drive.
Damn! IGH Days is going on. May need to see them at one of their earlier gigs
The Pearl's decade of rock is coming to a close at the SCVR Chili Feed on September 10, 2011.
It has been our great pleasure to meet so many inspiring people over the years, including our incredible fans, who we are proud to call our friends.
There are countless memories we have shared with each and every one of you that we will never forget.
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank everyone who has supported us.
A band is not just the members performing on the stage, it's a story and everyone who has ever sung a line of a song with us is a part of this story.
Let's celebrate Happy Endings at our farewell shows on July 31, August 13, August 20 and September 10!
“The Pearl provides live music to clubs, festivals and private parties in the Twin Cities area. Channel surfers love our set list which features modern and classic rock favorites stylistically ranging from country rock to heavy metal. Artists covered by The Pearl range from Janis Joplin, Pink and Carrie Underwood to Kid Rock, Audioslave and Tool.”
Anyone interested in tailgating at the Vali-Hi Drive-In this weekend? Weather is supposed so be excellent. Movies Are: Captain America, Crazy Stupid Love, and Final Destination 5.
Hey kids - Do you know anyone who wants to make a few bucks selling their old highschool calculator? I can't see paying $80 if someone no longer uses theirs. Looking for a TI83 or TI84
I was saying that exact thing. "we never had to pay for our abacus" At least our school districts knew how to budget back then. Maybe we need to go back to the beads. They seemed to know math better then.
Just an FYI: I'm trying to get the basement room (Man Cave) finished at my town home by my 40th birthday, which is Friday, October 14th. I'd like to have an open house and get everyone on my big deck for a little grilling and beverages.
If it's a nice evening, I think it would be cool to set out one of those portable fire pits or 'bowls' in the driveway, but I don't own one and probably won't be able to afford it with the remodel. Anyone have one to loan out? I have patio furniture, but if we can get a fire pit going I'd say bring a folding chair along for the street.

Lilliana Jane
Was it the ceiling of the art gallery? or she made these panels and they are on the wall?
In Owatonna?
I've got a portable propane grill I can bring.
I need to get internet soon - I feel so disconnected from the world!

Are you planning the party on that Friday? Sounds like a fun time.
Worried about how many people you can get on that big deck of yours
