I read that the ground water problem won't clear up until at least 2040. It was a Super Fund project, but they haven't signed off on it completely yet and still conduct tests.

Not to toot my own horn, but after trailing MsSassy & Yoz ALL season, I beat them by one point in Week 17.

I took a gamble in the playoffs on Atlanta beating the Giants, so even though our score is tied, I'm ranked 2nd place.

Has it been tighter than this at the end of ANY season? I don't recall someone winning by less than 2-3 games before.

Former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has died, his family confirmed Sunday. He was 85.

Paterno became entangled in controversy after allegations emerged of long-term sexual abuse by an assistant coach. He was fired on Nov. 9.

He became the winningest coach in major college football history in 2011 with 409 wins.

Under the man affectionately known as Joe Pa, the Nittany Lions won two national championships, went undefeated five times and finished in the top 25 national rankings 35 times, according to his official Penn State biography.

That record of wins won't have an asterisk by it, like Barry Bonds' records should. I give the man credit for staying outside and toughing it out into his 80's when any normal human over age 75 is inside a heated tent with their knees knocking and bitching about the weather. He should've been fired for what happened on his watch, but I really wonder how much control he had in the last few years - he's been frail for a while now.
