looking at web site statistics. traffic yesterday was almost double what it was after clue 2 last year and almost double what it was the year before. i must say, i'm impressed.
NOAA/National Weather Service's Space Weather Prediction Center, shows the M3.2 solar flare on January 23, 2012. The flare is reportedly the largest since 2005 and is expected to affect GPS systems and other communications when it reaches the Earth's magnetic field in the morning of January 24
My company internet and my smart phone's internet has been wonky all day - explains a lot, but I also know our company firewall is a real turd and needs to be replaced
It's interesting to have followed this over the years. There is a book, "The Monfils Conspiracy" by Denis Gullickson and John Gale, that really looks into the investigation, misconduct and cover-ups by the then Green Bay Police Dept. There is evidence that was never put forth in the trial. Many people believe these men who were convicted are actually innocent - including many of Tom's relatives. The thought is the person or persons who did this got away with murder and that innocent people were convicted.
I don't have an opinion one way or the other, but thought I'd share this.
Critics have questioned the motive that prosecutors put forth for the slaying, which was that Monfils was killed because he told police one of the men planned to steal an extension cord.
We understand he blew the whistle, but not about an extension cord. The whole thing is crazy. I think that is one of the reasons something brings this back around in the news now and again.
The guy at Thomas Jewelers at 12th and Southview in SSP has done repairs for me and is very reasonable. Many times he fixes things while you wait. That place is more of a repair shop than a retail jewelry shop as far as I can tell.
Hey, I was going through some of my old stuff (moving, organizing) and found a couple extra copies of that 2004 Archie comic book about the green donut hunt. Would anyone like one?
Sold, heh. Not even sure what a fair price is, you call it. Second thing is how to get it to you. I could mail it I suppose, or if you can get to 3M in the daytime on a weekday, I could bring it with me.
Still have another copy if anyone wants it. Eags? Maybe we could exchange the plate for a comic? Heh
Sounds more than reasonable. For that, I'll kick in mailing it over to you, less hassle that way, unless you don't trust the post office to deliver it without mangling it to shreds.
I can catch up with ya one of these days after I get over being Sick! not like you live that far from me or work to far from me just let me get over this cold or what ever I have and I will get a hold of you to meet up!
wow, this place is empty. All the scandal going on and no ones home? Looks like I wasted my posting fee this year :frown: Thanks facebook... :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown: :frown:
Looks like Im in the minority of people that appreciated this place :barf:
I'm still around, but haven't posted much. I was offline for so long, and even though I'm back online, work has been so crazy/busy, I get a few minutes in the evening and then I have to hit the pillows.
Thanks to those who replied to my posts about the pewter plate, lamp repair and Carbone's. I'll get into the appropriate thread and reply soon.
I got interrupted at my desk and couldn't grasp that Joe - nice one -
It was to expire somewhere around February 4th (Jesse's birthday) and I wanted to be sure it was paid a week before. Hey wait - this says it will expire today? huh?

I have a delicate 10 K gold bracelet that is twisted metal - beginning to rip.
It's not a herringbone.
I have had many snaps in gold necklaces in the past. Most jewelers can have it done.
I would check places like Jared. Usually only $20 or less
I will check in to them.

I miss the hunt!
