Clue 1:
Oh how we shudder when flakes start to flutter
For the poor treasure is covered with snow
Oh how we shiver with hope but a sliver
But in truth, to heights of glory you'll go.
Clue 2:
In personal lore, those who came before
Sit near in territory forbidden
In medallion lore, a singular score
Gives a clue to where the loot is hidden.
Clue 3:
To connect the dots, go line up your shots.
You’ll have to travel a bit but not much.
When you’re in the clear and the coin is near,
There is water you can see but not touch.
Clue 4:
Though you might pledge to live life on edge
There's value powering up the middle.
For the spot is marked where you're double parked.
See if you can figure out that riddle.
Clue 5:
For finding the puck, just look to the buck.
It will give a clue to the hidden stash.
X will mark the spot if you spy its slot.
Stay under three and you can win the cash
Clue 6:
How do hunters know where their shovels go?
Do we dot the landscape with snow divots?
As an advisor I'd say dig wiser.
Check your books. On that your success pivots
Clue 7:
Searching to and fro, best to go in slow.
Take a leisurely walk and do not run.
You shan't have a care out there in fresh air
Where day or night you can bask in the sun
Clue 8:
Some places to play keep boredom at bay
But seeing three thousand might make me wince.
Let's ourselves excuse, maybe get some booze.
We'll spend the prize to party like a prince.
Clue 9:
If you need a spark to find the right park
Seek one that has a variety of sports.
But don't stop to play, instead I would say
It would be best to look between two courts.
Clue 10:
Go give it your best while out on this quest
And you may qualify to be knighted
But if you digress, this you must address.
As it may prove you’re beyond nearsighted
Clue 11:
Come on now, with aid you can still get paid.
Crying o’er naught will always yield zip.
Your fate will be sealed out there in the field
Where there’s nothing else on which you might trip.

for all of us who are here.
So far so good, I cross my fingers every day I drive it. Granted, I really don't drive too far every day. I'm close enough to work now, I'm considering walking when the weather permits.
I think it will be found when the 3 yr olds mother washes his dirty pants and finds it in the washing machine. Just my 2 cents. :goofy:
I went out at lunch and saw 1 guy from aw's group(Kyle?) looking. No one else exept a city parks girl picking up trash. Told her to check the trash before tossing it in case she picked it up. Told her she could win $100. She thanked me and assured me she would check the stuff shes picking up.
I thought the same thing, mikey. I'll check back later. Good luck to those who are hunting.

Somebody fooled me.. But I had lots of fun..
But for some reason didnt see anybody else there....oono Maybe I too Aw wain the wrong sp ( )park...
Still I had funn.
To be honest, I don't recall the exact spot it was hidden, only roughly. I thought I had hidden it in such a way that you wouldn't really notice it unless you were actively looking for it, but if you were looking, you would see it once you got close enough. That much is clearly no longer the case. Yet I hesitate to end the hunt simply because I wasn't able to find it in the dark. So I think this will be the plan.
Based on what I have told you here, you can decide for yourself if you want to keep looking or not today. I will still release the final clue tonight at 6:30 and we'll see what happens then. If it's not found by midnight tomorrow, then there's probably no point in continuing the search another day and we'll have to call a mulligan. I thought about putting out another medallion last night, but there's no guarantee it won't disappear also.
If it comes to that, I think we will have to have another hunt. I'm open to feedback if people want another full fledged mock hunt, or if maybe a one day showdown of some sort on an upcoming weekend would be better.
If anyone wants to meet me out there text or call me. Sounds like a small needle in a giant haystack.
Lost of fun....
