I'll be glad to see the official unscrambled clue. That looks possible witchdoctor.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:06 PM Permalink
OT

I'm pretty sure the whole taxing argument concerned the top 2 percent.

Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:10 PM Permalink
OT

That's a noble attempt, withchdoctor. It's fun to see how close people get.

brasscat - one too many the

only 30 words
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:12 PM Permalink
Terry

I can't think of a reason that the 1 would be anything else. Otherwise it would be written as one.

1 for the money two for the snow

look for the medallion under ice and go

again......what an awesome move...

we all think "1" as 1st national bank....

admit it...you can't stop thinking about it...

KITCH

this clue writer is smart he knows what we will get sucked into..
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:14 PM Permalink
Terry

Kitch, it is an awesome thought. I might have to wake Inks up and at least convince him to go for a ride.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:15 PM Permalink
witchdoctor

certainly does.

I now like 1 for the money.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:16 PM Permalink
witchdoctor

The "1" could be the dread herring that has everyone

so paranoid.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:21 PM Permalink
brasscat

Huh? don't understand

If Crosby, and since the park seems numbered( #3 wetlands trail eg.) What was number 1?
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:21 PM Permalink
witchdoctor

The clue has much better flow than my version.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:23 PM Permalink
KITCH

when are we going to learn...friday nite clues suck
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:23 PM Permalink
Terry

This hasn't changed my mind about my park this year. One for the money must be the 1st Nat'l Bank. The 1 percent - the Yacht Club.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:23 PM Permalink
leelabell

Why two for the go?

Gotta play with that one
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:23 PM Permalink
OT

If nothing else, this clue will spread the crowd out.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:24 PM Permalink
witchdoctor

two entrances and parking lots -- one at each end.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:26 PM Permalink
witchdoctor

I counted 31 words in your version of the unscramble.

one too many -- "the".
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:28 PM Permalink
PilotsHatGuy

This is what I'm stuck on too
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:29 PM Permalink
Terry

Go rhymes with snow and the idea is to go hunt. That's my interpretation anyway.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:30 PM Permalink
leelabell

When you write out 1%, you usually use the actual number and not the word, so it might mean nothing in the clue (so says the math dude sitting next to me).
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:30 PM Permalink
leelabell

But lots of words rhyme with snow. They could have said show.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:31 PM Permalink
KITCH

in monoploy you get 200 for the go in cribbage you get 1 for the go
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:32 PM Permalink
Terry

Show would have been another word to tear apart with a multitude of meanings.

I think go hunt.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:32 PM Permalink
Brassmonkey

I agree, the number 1 is used correctly. you wouldnt use "one"
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:33 PM Permalink
OT

But you also write out 1, especially when it leads off a sentence.
Fri, 01/25/2013 - 9:33 PM Permalink
skari

Whatever may be your political bent,

For this year's hunt thank the 1 percent.

One for the money, two for the go,

Look for the medallion under ice and snow.
