You and me both! I feel relieved to know I wasn't totally off. Now if only my digging was more productive today. man I am sore from the 7 hour hunting
darn and we never met!! What time were you out there today? I was out alone and there from 12:00-3:30 today. Was around with a black beanie type hat and pink northface jacket. I was also the one that fell very gracefully going up the hill to the building praying for a bathroom...no luck for us ladies.
That's either wrong or the most bullshit explanation ever. So something in one park leads you to another park? WTF? It's like writing an Ikea clue and it's hidden in Vento.
We were there between 11:30-4. I was with my husband, sister and two nieces. They focus their energy on building a snowman by the pines that was quickly obliterated by other hunters.
We also were down by annapolis area for awhile.
I was going to go out tonight. Between the fog/freezing rain and the distance I drive I decided to stay home tonight. Plus I'm tired.
Being we had call the doctor - page and the judge - alan page, that would be my choice of areas. This is a later clue and that should be narrowing it down a bit.
I saw the cute snowman. when the girls were building it I was raking across at that overlook in those leaves. I swear I turned every leaf in that section! I should have went on over that area! I went into the overlook overy by annapolis but I just don't see it fitting in there. All those trees along the fence seem amusing but really, just tired to dig in there! LOL
I agree with the rain/distance. I figure my work is close enough that I can swing by tomorrow. Got enough of a workout today!
I think you are correct. Based on what I saw today and now looking at the street view. Looks like a perfect spot. Hopefully it won't be picked over tomorrow!
Tom and I have sort of a thing going about this. I wouldn't get out of Crosby because of the word permits and you need a permit to ice climb there or Lilydale. But, it really doesn't fit for Cherokee - because why use a Lilydale clue for Cherokee?
Seriously, folks, my dad and i think its been found. We have been hunting for 22+ yrs. they're entire behavior was mighty suspicious, as though someone told them exactly where to find it. We've lost the wind in our sails. I wish I could figure out a way to verify. Damn it!!!
My sister came up with the ice climbing to fit crosby. I also thought the Winter allows/summer forbids could be hinting at the Fossil Grounds --- you can dig in the winter(for medallions), but no digging in the summer(fossils) unless you have a permit.
This morning I woke up and the BV wasn't sitting well with me, neither was Harriet a couple of days ago. It seems this whole hunt the clues keep screaming somewhere new, so I decided to look at Cherokee/Lillydale closer because of the BV overlook and ice climbing. Then all of the street names hit me.
In the '98 hunt, the sledding hill had a whole clue dedicated to it It's on the Chippewa side just east of Annapolis about maybe half a block. That's what I think is the summer forbids thing.
Annapolis is also the county line that divides Ramsey from Dakota counties. The line of double division from the '98 hunt. The outer limit of the county for the '13 hunt.
Isn't just Cherokee parks
Man, I so want to go but just to wiped!!!

Unless someone finds it that is.
Que the pack of teenagers skipping school finding it in the morning so I can hear about it while I'm at work, lol.
Plus I like Ups and Downs - cherokee HEIGHTS and lillyDALE

That's the Navy song... Annapolis is home to the Naval Academy
