What a cute photo! Finder (s) from Treasure Hunt FB page:
"I hit it with the pick, but he had to finish it off with the spade," said Lynn Olson-Tuma of St. Paul, getting a smooch from husband Scot Tuma after finding the Pioneer Press Treasure Hunt medallion in Cherokee Park in St. Paul today.
This spot that Im looking at on the ground is where the finders said they found it. It was not in the hole on the right side of the tree, but was on the left side of tree (south, or side towards overlook) only about 1 or 2 feet from tree.
(I was looking for the broken off peice after the find in this pic)
I'm beginning to wonder if the cluewriter chipped a piece off before hiding it, thinking anyone that found it would probably use a tool to break the ice open, thinking they chipped it off in the process. Creates a nice little mystery doesn't it?
Plus, it's starting to be a tradition of having pucks mangled during a find, makes them look more.. real. I guess.
What's up at Gabes tomorrow? Just another excuse to get together I assume? I won't be able to make Joesph's tonight, the wife still has someone a week overdue and Joesph's, much like Cherokee sadly is out of my allowed range.

I'll have them up on the skydrive over the weekend. Just keep it on the down low so the Press doesn't get uptight.
Googling this: "st. Paul" wheel future, results in this: http://www.joelbarker.com/ai1ec_event/implications-wheel-facilitator-training-st-paul/?instance_id
But, I'm not sure that leads us to his house.
