And yes MG... all my gear is still in the car, and my books/maps are still laying around. I have a To-do list of things to get caught up on this weekend.
Thanks guys for the reply to the heat  We might actually be able to make it since the sleepover with the kids ends at noon! I know it would be nice to bring the family so they can see mom isn't crazy
I feel a weirdness of not having the hunt going on! It always takes me a few weeks to adjust back to "normal" especially with sleep.
We are heading out to the boat show tonight so its nice to go do a family event vs. heading out in this cold to a park. Its been a hectic 2 weeks between traveling and the hunt.
So hopefully tomorrow the groundhog see's his shadow. I am done with this cold winter.
I don't know that it would help. It's stationary so the CW could use it to his/her advantage and just claim the compass was generally in any direction.
Clue 6 is what got me there, I was really thinking the shift meant it was in a small park and with that park being so historical for St. Paul, I tied the rest of the same clue there.
Dug there on Saturday, dug through the plow pile on the path at HI on Sunday and went through SH and BVS on Monday. Drove thru Cherokee but didn't have the energy to actually get out of the car! doh!!!
Yeah, what the heck, I'll stick around too. Granted none of my normal day to day people I see are on here, this place is kinda my refuge from the day, where I can talk about whatever I want, heh.
Well that was a major CW screw up. I don't get the reasoning behind the river running "east" but then again I have never been great at directions.
If only the "east" wasn't such a focus, it kept me from going back to that section to search that night. Whats sad is my gut was telling me east seemed wrong to hide it. I learned, always trust my instinct because its always right during the hunt.
I'm guessing that is the area in front of the old Washington Jr. High. I don't know what that's called anymore. I'll have to make a point of getting over that way and see if there's a sign.
The inside pavillion at Newell is heated. There is talk about a fire after 2:00 when we need to be out of the pavillion.

I will be renewing AM for next year.

I am done with this winter too.

Shadow is in Florida for the winter.
Facebook confounds me sometimes. I much prefer this. Conversations can happen here in a way that can't be done on FB.

When looking "west" I see Mpls. When looking "east" I see downtown St. Paul. North to me is on the other side of downtown from there.
I guess I'm right there with the CW - clueless.
