Going through my dad's things. I was hoping to find a .357 magnum pistol I got him years ago. Sadly, my mom informed me he hocked most anything he had that had any value. Seems likely that gun is long gone (and with the talk of gun control these days, cost of guns, etc, I was hoping to acquire that one for sentimental value).
Well, my mom was going through things and found what she thought was an airsoft pistol. Turns out it was a 9mm pistol my brother bought a while back. After confirming with him, he told me the apartment he lives in won't allow him to have guns, so he said I could have it as a gift.
Turns out the reason my dad hadn't hocked it was that the frame is damaged, and the gun is pretty much worthless. But, a little searching on the manufacturer's website revealed that they have a lifetime "no questions asked" warranty, where they'll repair any of their guns, free of charge.
Hmm.. guess I'll see how well they stick to their guns warranty, heheh.
Assuming that goes well, since I've never really owned a gun before, I'll probably go take some classes. Not that I care to really be a gun toting crazy person, but I wouldn't mind going to a range every now and then to shoot.
I don't know if this is exactly an enjoy per say, but not really an irritant either. But it is pretty odd that I've now had a Mormon and a Pagan use my shower in my house. I'm guessing I'm a few more religious belief systems away from having to put up one of those coexist bumper stickers in there.
NICE WORK...well deserved!!!
Anyone know where I can get a good deal on a case of spicy hot V8? I'm substituting V8 for beer but it's not cheap.
Thanks
