You mean we can't search there? Shoot, I thought it was in Bloomington, to tell you the truth, all the clues point toward the Mall of America parking lots! I'm ruined.

Okay, enough is enough. What about the banks?

I'm into banks as a $$ bank OR banks that are next to water OR perhaps snow?

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 7:41 PM Permalink
ElseaMae

green - umm okay so let's just say that I don't ...

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 7:43 PM Permalink

As far as the bank reference goes, two things make sense: 1. With the use of the word one and figure also in that clue, the 1st Bank Light could be visible from the location or 2. The treasure is in a snow bank.

Christmas was meant to celebrate religion, not to swell the commerce, too, and if you want to make a "you're ruining the event" speech to me, you're just as much a bother as anyone else for speaking off topic.

Turn off the goddamn capslock.

I've got 3 parks on my queue. Any more to add? Has anyone actually tied in Highland to each clue yet? (I'm sure they will)

What about the huge U.S bank next to Hidden Falls, or the bank of the Mississippi!

Mac-Grove Man

Hey all...Hi Green..just a quick visit...if somebody wants to shoot their phone number to me I'll call with the clue at 11:00 PM as I will be stopping in at the Mardi Gras gig down at the PP. I need it right now cuz I'm heading out!

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 7:47 PM Permalink
Matt

Oh yes, I forgot about the 1st Bank light... Hmm... Can that be seen from Battle Creek?

I wouldn't count on a snowbank unless it was intentionally made in a random area; the banks on the streets... and probably anywhere you'd pile the snow up, are open to permanent removal, it could wind up in a landfill somewhere :) This also leads to another rule that one wouldn't want to start looking anywhere near sidewalks or major walkfares, either.

green

Mac, We'll be filming there!

Those, I don't know.

"leed" not "led"

My Take On The Clues:

#1 This park has been the place for many gold medals, and is within the city limits of St. Paul. Many duels or contests have taken place in this park (and continue to), as well as many dualities concern it - only one of which was that you had to "keep on your toes."

#2 Stay off private ground and don't mess with any statues or golf courses.

#3 Circular thinking/linking refers to bicyles. This is part of one of the dualities.

#4 East and west is another duality of the park, but which is correct? (*I* know!) Playing referrs to playing fields in the park.

#5 First guy's metal; second's one o'much mettle. Second guy would have caught deal/lead. First guy would know dual/duel.

So far, everything fits. However, everything fit last year until that 7th Clue!!!

Anyone know the name of this park?? We went there last night but I did not see any name. It is very small and on a map it is in the shape of a circle. (or so grandpa says) It is located on the west side of St. Paul by Ohio street. It has a great view of all of St. Paul including the first bank sign, the gold horses of the capitol. You are overlooking Hariet island. I believe the intersecting streets are Bellows and Delos.

But, I guess you're right. But I just don't want to say as I don't want somebuddy beating me to The Med!
