o.k. - what do ya'll think of this: In 1970, retired Pioneer Press cartoonist Jerry Fearing created the "Adventures of Supermayor," a strip whose main character was St. Paul Mayor Charlie McCarty. The strip ran in the St. Paul Dispatch. This is the man that will be doing VenturaLand. Anyway, there is a Carty Park, near MLK Rec Area. Do you think that is worth checking out?

Leah, I feel xhausted. Two coney dogs and a root beer and no sleep hardly for days.

I GOT the "joke", Jake!

ElseaMae

crazy - we'll have to have some clue if we tend to implement the prior mentioned plan. So we best try to work on these clues to get us at least close!

Yes...I went to Valley from 6-6:30pm. There were a couple others there...but really, we don't know where to dig. That's the problem. And I am starting to doubt it's there. :)

Downtown Dave

Yep, Michelle, I was there. Dug a lot of snow, found: Skittles bag. Reeses package. Leaves. Evidence of Rabitts. There was a guy digging every base pad on the ball fields. And a couple of nice ladies having, what I think must have been, very satisfying cigarettes...

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:12 PM Permalink
ElseaMae

Crazy - hmm yes and we'll do that just after we read tonights clue and find out which one we should start in.

Does anyone disagree with the inside a Dove soap box theory? Hope nobody throws it away as trash! : O

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:15 PM Permalink
Downtown Dave

Yes, that was me--black hat and headphones. I did see a lady and child doing nice work in the play area--I stayed away, since it easier to dig blindly in loose snow!!!!

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:15 PM Permalink

Hidden Falls:

1. In one of the clues it said out of sight aka Hidden

2. Then it said Circular thinking well Start with the first C then go in a circle to the I then keep drawing that circle to the T, then to the Y. You get CITY.

3. Hidden Falls LINKS the CITY of St Paul to Minneapolis\

I remember from a few years ago i was looking in Hidden falls park and i came across 2 statues, does anyone know of whom they are of?

What do you all think of this?

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:17 PM Permalink
Beckster013

Ok well no one is answering my question so im going to go now buh bye :)

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:18 PM Permalink

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:18 PM Permalink
ares

byob, methinks scribe and i have dibs on it being at the pond. we called it there first.

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:19 PM Permalink
Leah Logan

maybe the med is inside of a dead dove

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:19 PM Permalink
Downtown Dave

I like Valley. I also think that despite it's small size overall, digging is going to be tough there. Toward downtown, it is just a flat expanse--very fiew landmarks. If we get to the "paces" clues, it will still be tough!

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:19 PM Permalink
Terry

No...actually Bee called it about what....3 or 4 years ago? He's always in the frog pond.

Thu, 01/25/2001 - 8:20 PM Permalink
ares

now, terry, that doesn't count.
