From FB: "Ignore" may mean that Dylan "ignored" the Nobel prize; he gave a statement howerver

Been feeling Keller or Phalen all along. Lots of good noodles for them. All the obvious ones. There again last night and was the lone stranger at those parks. Left and went to Como. Clues fit Como so conveniently too. So confused now!!! Calgon take me away!

Now we're getting somewhere! Covered tracks....near Phalen?

If this treasure is where I think it is, I cannot wait to see what the clue explanation for ancient band will be. UGH!

Fat tire races at Keller....

All that sewer line construction at Phalen though? Think they would not want to encourage crowds during that. Although most of it is along the golf course side. Arggghhh

Light rail rings a bell when approaching intersections.

It runs on a track.

That's all I got.

Just dog walkers and a child care group at Crosby at noon.

I agree too much construction @phalen/keller.

Wander- it is a long walk from parking.

Rebel - not in typical low snow year woods.

Pack track - packed snow under fat tire bike track.

Bring your ice pick this year.

In the 50's,old hiway 61 path runs east through the east picnic area at Keller.

arcade st took a "perfect angle" 90 degree right turn just north of roselawn ave.

The old bridge abutment areas are still visible along the creek.

It turned back to the NE and then followed the utility lines.

What if the clue writer is not discerning about the pure definition of ancient? I don't think an ancient band necessarily needs to be extinct in order to be ancient. Just saying, I wouldn't rule anything out based on how we think the clue writer thinks.

I,too, feel that ancient is a subjective term in this game

What if the ancient band is the organ of the carosul.

Rail-trolley

Still in como.

Which in my history means it's not como, if Aw is in como than its 100% not como

Another board mentioned 4th Street and Prince street (I was wondering when Prince's name would be in clue) in St Paul. That is near the "Lower Landing Park" area (Lambert's Landing Park) LL perfect angle? Railroad tracks. But no golf course or gorse that I can see. It's a smaller area unless you walk down along the River. Not sure how other clues fit, however.

During the 1800s, St. Paul's Lower Landing was one of the busiest steamboat landings in the United States.

Until the beginning of the railroad era in the 1880s, Lower Landing was the main source of supply and communication for the St. Paul community. It also served as the arrival point for tens of thousands of immigrants entering Minnesota.

"Prince, a new baby giraffe, made his public debut Thursday at the Como Zoo in St. Paul. The giraffe was named after “one of the greatest musicians, songwriters, producers and cultural icons of our time, Prince Rogers Nelson."

Wheelock Whitney died this year; brought the Twins here and part owner Vikings. (Phalen & Keller).

4th and Prince is not lower landing. It's the back of the saints stadium / transit maintenance facility, or old Gillette company

Hmm, thinking of clue 1. Hex is equal to six....Six chapels of the cathedral.

Under summit Ave by the cathedral is the tunnels for the old trolley lines.

The Hwy 61 and ignore no bell (ignore Nobel) still makes me think of Dylan. Hwy 61 and Dylan was used in a recent year's clue, I believe.

so is the pack, hunting pack, wolves?

    barefootguy

Yep, they used dylan for highway 61 last year at Bald Eagle. Also to add some fuel to the Vento fire, "perfect angle" could be Euclid st, and rebel could be Wilson Ave. Not saying that I think it's there, but can't totally ignore it.

The track that Patti Smith sang/ forgot the words for at the Nobel ceremony in Dylan's stead was "A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall." It might be a bit of a stretch, but perhaps there is a reference either to this song or to Patti Smith here? Also, I know that there is an article from 2009 about how Bob Dylan got in trouble while "wandering" and someone called the police on him.

I believe that the red herring here is to make people think it refers to Highway 61, when it actually is referring to Patti Smith (which is why you would say please ignore the nobel ceremony). Or alternatively, if it refers to Highway 61 perhaps they are putting it in Bald Eagle-Otter Lake once more, or Phalen/Keller.

Wasn't there a spot in Como where one could just see the top of the Capitol dome? Or am I just remembering the cathedral can be seen or that church.

The dome may refer to those signs with the Capitol dome on them around the park. or the dome of the Greenhouse.
