Hi folks, sorry I've been so quiet. I've been following, but just really busy at work. I suspect that it will be found tonight or tomorrow. If not, I'll be out there with you on Wednesday night. Best of luck to all!
Didn't get a chance to go out today but that was the second area on my list for tonight.
Clue 9 mirroring the can't see portion from the '58 clue 9 hinted at under a bridge to me. Heard it was frozen in a block of ice, which it was frozen in milk in '58. Oh well.
Major pouting going on at my house right now. Dug around Spoon lake yesterday and today too. Can't wait to learn where it was so I can see how close I got.
Before everyone toddles off to their real lives again, I wanted to say how much nicer I find this forum to discuss clues and noodling together. I want to encourage those that were here to continue next year and to help spread the word.
Agreed. I'm too old to spend my energy wastefully. I'll wait until I'm pretty sure that I'm at least in the right park. But I do hate it when it is found before the first weekend so am glad that they were vague enough to keep it going this long. #hate/love
Thanks Terry! I agree 100%. It will take some doing to build this back to the fast-paced place we miss so dearly. But with every person who joins, the momentum increases.
Thanks to everyone here for another great year of community. I love the ideas and support this group shares and hope the off season is good to everyone.
Looks like it was a male cluewriter this year! The year it was in Snail Lake, I think it was a woman, because we talked to someone who works at PP and they said "she" when referring to the cluewriter. So, maybe a new one this year?
There has been talk about it, but we keep going back to Sunday. The reasons include the Vulcan's Victory Dance and Torchlight Parade on Saturday along with other WC activities being the last day.
The gathering of prizes and stuff for the Rehash is also being done on Saturday and often household chores like laundry has been neglected during the hunt so it's a good day to get caught up a bit.
With the Super Bowl being in the evening, parties for that event are also in the evenings and we are done Rehash Bashing by 3.
Are there any parks with a statue of a pond creature?

Everyone is invited. I understand the finder was invited to come so that alone should make the afternoon fun.

I'm bringing kosher hot dogs and buns.
