I saw a few people, but only got to talk to Downtown Dave. After my Mason meeting I passed Marydale on my way home and stopped there to look around and saw a guy from out west and Mr Med Hunter.
Clue 1--It's in the City of St. Paul, the clues will be tough, and the obvious GOOD LUCK could mean to watch for anagrams in future clues.
Clue 2--Warns us not to annoy statues, the writer knowing of the future "man of steel" clue, and the usual don't destroy stuff. The importance of this clue may become apparant in future clues with an anagram using the letters "TFGA", because there doesn't seem to be much else here
Clue 3--Anagram of CITY, formed in a somewhat "circular fashion"--Bicycle chains come to mind with circular linking--tire swing also possible--Hidden Falls has a major bike trail--Bank could be river bank--again, hidden falls....don't know
Clue 4--East River Road and West River Road--or East side of St. Paul / West side of St.Paul--Playing could refer to Arcade Ave., a major East Side street--or maybe a playground with a tire swing--ETIP
Clue 5--Man of mettle could be Henry Ford (also, in an industrial revolution sort of way, a man of steel), the Ford plant being right above hidden falls--or McKnight, Shepard Road is near Hidden Falls..Probably hidden in a Dove Chocolate bar box or Dove soap box..ABLATSOA--
I think we need more clues......
It's dangerous to read too deeply in these early clues..
For No. 5 I am still sticking with "Clark Kent", not the man of of steel but also couragous. I'm thinking Clark or Kent street because they say "look for his name around our deal" what else could that mean??
i'm not sure of the circular pointing towards the ford plant; mom'a used it as a reference before. if anything, their link to hidden may be as follows. (sound of the cooler crew turning their 2nd edition treasure hunters guides to pages 36 and 37). the end of the road leading in from the south (p. 37) is a circle. the road formations on page 36 (zone 2 north end) can also be taken to be somewhat circular. i guarantee that mom's not gonna use the high-tension balls 8 years after she used them to point to hidden. if it's at hidden. nonetheless, i agree with step that the circular is a very critical part of that clue.
In his world it is Henry Ford. If we want to go to his world, we can join him. I choose to keep an open mind though. The game is afoot, but it is sitll early....
The def. of mettle is quality of character, and Mr. Ford was important to the car industry. Plus, you can change mettle to metel, and that is what they make cars out of at his plant!
I'm not saying it can't be Henry Ford, as he was certainly full of mettle, but why him out of all the men with mettle? Just because it fits? Seems like you have to relate it to the man of steel part somehow.
a duel could mean a competition or contest = ice carving contest, Gold = gold medal and circular thinking could be one way of linking = gold olympic metal circles.
the south gate is closed and looks like it has been for quite a while, there's lots of snow around it. But the north gate was open wide when I was driving around earlier this evening and you can get to zones 1 and 2 from that drive. There were several other cars there, scouting it out as well, I assume.
yeah I thought that that might have been you- I was the one with the little girl with me - maybe you saw us?
Regg- "circualr thinking" HAS to mean something
has anyone actually gone to hidden falls this year
REGG MAN>> Thank-you.
ANY OTHER CLUES YOU WANT ME TO EXPLAIN. Oh Yeah, the med has been at Hidden before, and the hours then were the same.

Thinking out loud (cyber thinking, that is)

actually, crazy, a few of us will be left here. 6 is still gonna be worthless in terms of the public area the puck is in.
Hey AW- I saw the round tables you were talking about but didn't go down the hill- is there much more ground to cover past those tables?
What's up ares.
Regg- have you been there yourself because I don't think the gates are open at any time of day

Dude, I was kidding. Why would you use Crap Face as a screen name? its not like there isnt alotta better stuff to use.
true. true. :)
AW- What party? the one in the lobby of PP?
You duel in fencing, and as you have heard, there's a lot of fences at Hidden Park
I think according to the clues that the medallion would be on the opposite side from the tables, so I wasn't worried what else was over there.
Jake are you the one I was talking to earlier?
Yeah? Like what? More ICP names like you and your pals Dumbass J and Shaggy 2 Stupid?
I dont think so Crazy
Does anyone have ideas of any Olympic references in St. Paul?
yes, that one, at the PP. Will probably get going in about 10 or 15 minutes
Does anyone else want to take a worthless shot at me?
