Duel= era or fighting (highland) #2 Golf courses and statues you most not annoy= I think there tell us that there is this stuff around but stay away. #3 Circular= going back to the beginning (highland) Linking= the ice hockey rink and the figure skating rinks together.(which they are linked at highland by a ice path #4 East=east side of park. West=highlandis on the west side of st. paul. Playing= play ground #5 Man of steel CANNOT be real= Charlie brown. But the other has plenty of mettle(spirit)= Charles shultz, highland was renamed the charles shultz-highland park in 1998. Name around our deal= the new name of the park or the peanuts statue or plaque. Fettle(good condition or newer)= 1998 Peaceful bird= dove box. #6 Place with lots of space= highland is the biggest park in ramsey co. Riding= the bike trails or the golf cart trails. Off base= not on the ballfields. Victorious= highland won the high school ball tournament last year.

New Daddy...Interesting...I have not seen green, Scribe, or SueButt in here, but thanks for the heads up and I mentioned this theory 2 days ago and looks like a few ran with it.
This is what I found. Ok you have beach Volleyball courts. No statue of anybody famouse. Just the ICe castle statue and a rock with somebodies name on it. Come Conservationist or something. Then ya have a bridge that is dedicated to somebody (wasnt going to walk over there did wanna take the short cut threw the ice) You have the Old Gillete Childrens Hospital. At Phalen Rec Center ( i used to hang out there) you have ball feilds soccer Feilds and Ice rinks. Then down in the 3rd parking lot you have all these bridges that go on to this lil island type thing all these walking/running paths
DOH! I can't remember the name. *shakes head* it says something about all conservationist that served *hits head* oh I dunno. Now I wanna go back down there. There is a bridge to named after somebody they got a pic of him on the plack that dedicates the bridge to him
I started out thinking Highland, then AW had me convinced about Valley - then TODAY, im almost poitive its at cOmO , tommorow Im almost 100%sure it will be at Ft. Snelling and the day after that I will be digging at Phalen and then on Monday I will find the medallion at..... Highland. I hate this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No I don't - love it love it love it! So what about this East West thing? why are you ppl thinking it has to be East? the clue just says that East AND West are part ... One is the proper place, meaning one is not - I cant get East as opposed to West from that anywhere.
I am a sucker for a few parks. Growing up on the West Side and Highland, I always try to tie the clues to Cherokee, El Rio, Highland, Hillcrest, or Groveland. So I am always a little tenitive on declairing any of those my deffinate winners. (Reverse favoritism, if you will.)

One small problem in your theory. Highland is on the WEST side of town. Boarders Minneapolis.

Yup! and they have gates to get into the park. and well last night they were open. But the night before they were closed.
If we are right, the names could be important especially with the 4th and 5th clue.
