hmm, thats a daughting task. i was about to do, then i saw how daughting it was. so thats good at least. but theirs what about vintage aircraft? famious trains? people who made the street car? old roads that were changed? its just too broad to suddenly say AA
As i was saying, the busiest street is university, and lots of space is the universe, and that all points to Iris, it has got to be at iris. I am going there right away.
Tbones, there may be some. But the adults don't do it - generally.
Maybe it just takes being around here awhile and getting the feel for things. And being confident in one's take of the clues. Speaking only for myself, I can generally tell when I'm being fed a line. But I've been going thru this for four years.
I just ignore those I think are trying to throw me off. Bringing them to task only gives them what they want: attention. Let them do their damndest. I know what I know, I know what I don't know, and I go with my best abilities on figuring out the clues.
And most often times, I'm in The Frog Pond! LOL!!!
Sup Ya'll. I havent been in here since about 4:45, and dont really feel like going back and reading 800 posts. So can someone fill me in...is everyone still stuck in basically the same parks as before?
Me & my nephew the Undertaker where digging at Como and we watch a fellow treasure hunter collaspe in the snow. The paramedics came and took her away. Thankfully she seem to be standing when the medics got there. All the excitment and digging must have caused her to faint or have a seisure. Also someone in the park suggested that clue 5 about the man of steel could mean a Knight in shining armor. The guy was going to head to battle creek park because McKnight Ave goes by there. Any thoughts on this theory?
As i have just proven, none of us have any clue. I have thought my brains out and i guess i will wait till the next clue. It will either talk about Arlington, cotton, Waterfalls, or Bing Crosby
I link Knight to having a relation to Harding High School. The only park very close though is Eastview, which does not fit the last two clues. The Battle Creek neighborhod, where I live, could fit, but so could every other major park in St Paul. If I was to say, the part of Battle Creek containing the caves down by Highway 61 would fit the best, but some stretches need to be assumed.
Oh crap, ya know what? Como looks better all the time. Todays clue - open space (fields at Como), off base (ball fields at Como), victorious one (Victoria street runs along the east side of Como park) riding around (caroussel at Como). I just don't like the too obscure thoughts on the man of steel/mettle thing
Leah: I live near HP and HF. I hope she gets soon well. I had the flu last week, and it is definitely not fun. And not fun having to take care of those with it either. I would like to go out, and will likely go to PP if I can figure out where it is exaactly.
You know Allison, you could have made your mode of transportation an "Edsel" and then you could come to HF with me LOL

well I think I'm going to PP tonight- but going to hunt immediately after _ anyone interested in me calling in the clue??
capital mall, and AA are on map we're gonna go check them out, is anybody gonna be out there in the next couple hours
If you want to keep digging at Como Brandon, that's fine with me.
Diggin'... But we're to steer clear o'clear!!!
we might be posting it, i got a buddy that stood in line last night and we were the first to post
As i was saying, the busiest street is university, and lots of space is the universe, and that all points to Iris, it has got to be at iris. I am going there right away.
huge JOE comin'
where is iris
SueBee>> I know!!! I would probably end up calling the PP and swearing alot!!
JOE MAMA
That is it, the medallion is at COMO--PERRY COMO RULES
My gut instinct is that they would put it at Highland for the 50th anniversary, but can't match all the clues...Ford, Peace, open space
Is there really an Edsel street in HF? I didn't see it. Looked like "Elsie St" to me.
not actually though :)
Iris my eye! Its in Hidden Falls......just ask the amish.
Like i was saying, i still feel it is in the Valley--Right next to the REC Center...Meet me at the VALLEY
It could still be at Highland I guess.
Methinks DiggingAnimal is trying to throw people off a bit now.
My guess is Newell....I don't know why, but it is. I think they have a vendetta or something and they want us to suffer.
Like "think of traveling the old way again" as in our trips to Newell every damn day last year!
And "circular thinking" to be Wheeler street or the year '00 to "link" us to a park. Maybe link this years clues to last year's.
Just this wierd feeling in me i guess.
I liked HF until the play thing. There's not a playground down there.
The medallion is surely at MARYDALE, all the clues fit..it is so perfect!!
circular fits, out of view fits, depression fits, riding around fits....
I'm jumping on the NEWELL bandwagon also, it has got to be there, with the circular thinking and all..EVERYONE TO NEWELL

Digginganimal- do you have multiple personalities??? You keep saying a diff place just about everytime you post:)
I'm with you sue, frustrating.

Let me just say I hate my computer at times. Leah, I was going to ask, what parks do you live by? And is your daughter coming with you tonight?
hey digginganimal what is next on your list of parks that all the clues fit perfectly

was saying that earlier with newell, esepcailly with the word "duel" and how they repeated things allot
As i have just proven, none of us have any clue. I have thought my brains out and i guess i will wait till the next clue. It will either talk about Arlington, cotton, Waterfalls, or Bing Crosby
Green, I would like to go to visit Ma Press. Where is she exactly?
Kids- I live in the Midway area- and no she's probably not coming, she still getting over a week long flu!! Are U going out tonight?
Sue, this might be way off but you could play at HF with a boat in JUNE!
Step! That was WONDERFUL noodling about Newell!
I've not even considered Newell because, well... It was there last year. But you sure do give good thoughts on why it COULD be again this year!!!
I think I'm too tired and too confused to consider another park... But I can't wait to find out more about Newell!!!
Hey lets all admit we don't know where the things is or we would have it.
was down their last night, since i was computer ridding for a while
Well, its really cool to see that I can come in here, and ask a question addressed to ANYONE and still get no response.
OK Green...I have other thoughts.

I don't feel like digging, but I'm thinking of heading out anyway and going somewhere. Maybe I'll go see who's digging where.
Allison, do you know the address o'Mom Press? I just know how to get there.
Ittiz on the street that ends at Kellogg Park - with the red Salavating Army pot o'lites.

I like the east-west clue. That eliminated Brazil and Vancouver off of my list.
Kellogg & 5th
green, 345 cedar between 4th and 5th
