Thanks, Terry. Will have to look that over. Does anyone know if PP actually hands out the paper at 11 PM. I just called the medallion hot line just in case I missed something and it said that the paper would be out a 11 PM. If this is so, does anyone place it on here before it is actually posted?
Digger, the past couple nights i guess they handed it out late or something. and then whenever someone in here gets it, we get it. otherwise, you gotta wait til midnight to catch it on the pioneerplanet home page.
Don't have to worry about parks closing at night during the hunt because it's understood that if the medallion is hidden there, the park will remain open. However, the police will be patroling the area quite often. The rules change for the hunt.
matt: yet another take that may be worthwhile investigating matt (that i've spewed here 100 times or so) is the fact that lexington once ran farther east of its current path in the vicinity of the pavilion. the area is also home to the highest hill in the park (seems like we don't want to be depressed), around which there is a one-way circular street. there's a link here with the old way of travel, too.
I'm outta here. Going Red Bull shopping and then to the PP, then to (probably) Como.
I apologize to you, Allison, if I offended you in any fashion. I have the tendency to get loud. While I have itches with things that you may be involved with, I shouldn't act to upset you. Or anyone else, for that matter. I don't intend to make anyone uncomfortable about being in this forum because I feel that way. I feel that if people harness what this is used for and get down to business that it turns out to be a Very Good Thing[tm].
Good luck to everyone, I will see you out on the battlefield.
Jordenn - Well it really doesn't matter much if I say as I usually get told why I'm wrong...but my heart is set on Hidden but I'm open to show up anywhere
Ares, I was digging up on that hill on friday day. You can see the first bank sign from up there. Otherwise the hamm memorial water fall is right below the eastern side.
Kent Street runs into Marydale also. And Marydale park is one big cirle around Loeb lake. Also, and old way of travelling could refer to the railroad tracks that run by there.
Or, what about the man of steel clue referring to the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz, whereas the Lion gets plenty of mettle (courage) in the long run.
Actually I'll be at the paper. What I don't have is anyone to put it on my site, but I don't think there's anyone on my site who isn't here also and I'm sure they check here first so I'm not worried about rushing to have the clue up there.
schlett, i'm doubting the old way of travel is the railroad. amtrak's been quite modernised (though their derailment record leaves much to be desired :). more than likely it either refers to horse/buggy travel, or something abandoned: closed street, relocated street, possibly an abandoned railroad track turned bike trail?

Ares: around that area, the place that's still technically park S of the parkway is good as well.
I need to see tonight's clue. :)
matt did u go to bernards?
I was considering Phalen Rec Center for a while. No gate or Maplewood issue there and a lot of the clues fit it.

matt did u go to bernards?
So is anyone heading right out after they read tonights clue?

The area near the ball fields and the mini-golf course is all dug up!
ares - you got your guide handy?
Elseamea, Depending on what it says...a few of us are! Are U?
is harriet island completely out of the running?? or is just about anything still up for open pondering??
Father, can you gat the paper?
Elsea, most everyone says they are going out after the clue. Where you thinkin?

Pryzmsphere - Glad to, provided I figure out where it is to go.
Jordenn, most are thinkin Como

scribe, your joke has still not been extended. i'm disappointed in you :)
just lookin' over Como...you thinking zone 4? That seems to fit.
Got the carousel, ball fields, "midway pkwy" with land on the east and west, trolley...kinda interesting.
the pavilion, king?
postscript :P
Ares: That's good information. I wrote it down. :)
Time will not escape me this year. I have no work and no ]mononucleosis to hinder me like I had the last 2 hunts. :)
St. Bernards? I don't believe so..
ttfn!
Jordenn - Well it really doesn't matter much if I say as I usually get told why I'm wrong...but my heart is set on Hidden but I'm open to show up anywhere
I had to kick Scribe off so she can get ready.
:-)
Allison, are you still here?
Its ok Matt, your points aren't necessarily wrong, but I don't think its anything intentional is all.
lol THX!
Allison, do you have someone at PP to get the paper as soon as it comes out?
yep over by the pavillion up on the hill. can see alot from up there
Ares, I was digging up on that hill on friday day. You can see the first bank sign from up there. Otherwise the hamm memorial water fall is right below the eastern side.
Yes I am. What can I do for you Treasure Digger?
dan, i'm thinking farther east (zones 3 5 and 7, though i haven't ruled out zone 2)
Hey Jordenn and Pryzmsphere, how are ya'll doing? Have you solved it yet? :o)

I was at the "Zone 4" area for a long time today!

Have we completely ruled out Capital Mall??? It still works for me! Especially "busiest street" Wall Street!
Well Elseamae... maybe we will see you out there. Depending on the clue, we are heading to Mc Murray.. Best of luck to ya! :)
THX... see you and Scribe out there in a few. I am coming from Fridley, so gimme some time!

This is starting to remind me of how everyone was at Newell before they realized it was Conway.
Wall street, that's good!
Jordenn - thanks good luck to you too. Never know where I'll end up, probably bed. lol
"THX... see you and Scribe out there in a few. I am coming from Fridley, so gimme some time!"
Scribe's getting ready........so give ME some time.
