ok shoveler said it. but after 7000 posts, it's hard to remember who originally said something. heck, on tuesday someone will be attributing it to me.

I hope it is wrong too...it doesn't ring true at all...

Perhaps it's a ploy to get rid of everyone in here and when the real clue is out we'd all miss it!

I think I'll just try out for Klondike Kate instead.

I stated this many posts ago. I called the hot line for the medallion and the message stated that the paper will be out at 11 PM with the new clue. It is possible that someone was at PP and called someone with the clue. However, I don't know if this actually happened. Again, I'm hoping the clue will give us more insight than that.

elsea, i think we're all smarter than that. we'll still be here at 1 pissed off because 1) the clue is too vague as per the usual, or 2) webx died.

I think its in a location not even mentioned in here yet, but the only clues I have to figure out to make it fit is lots of space (I think lots of space more means the sight space around), and the memorbale lane. Can comeone define memorable lane down to more terms that will help??

Well, if that dude would answer that originally posted it, we'd all know.

Clue #8

Adding hot coco to a cup of mocha creats a stirring combination Put them together and you'll evoke a potentially lucrative location.

Why won't the PP just set up a secure online connection, and say Hey we got people waiting to buy a paper, but you people at home, you want the clues at the same time, pay up.........Think about how much $$$$$ The PP will make if they do that, buy your clues a hour ahead of time.

I'm with you Tom. I'd pay just to have the clue at the same time as the paper if that is the case. I'm sure there are rules about how far in advanced they could do that though.

tom, because it only takes one person to pay and post it here for the rest of us. heck, we do that anyway with cell-phones and such.

Hi all, there are sio many different theories its just fun to hang out and read them all. I personally don't think that clue was real. I also don't think they would put it at newell due to the time it takes in the spring to clean up the mess it leaves, and that one was pretty well picked over last year. They are also gonna make it extra hard this year since someone stumbled on it so early last year. Ramblings from the sleepless.

mind, arlington plgd is on the block bounded by maryland av on the north, payne av on the west, rose av on the south, and greenbrier st on the east. note: greenbrier is a former street-car route in that area (and coincidentally only a few blocks from me)
