The 5th clue says a man of steel= Churchill Another has plenty of mettle= Lexington =Lex Luther Look for his name around our deal= Lexington and Churchill surround Zone 7.

The explanation is that the medallion is hidden in COMO park. COcoa and MOcha put together spell COMO. It's plenty late that we should have the park pinpointed. Now the next three clues will be to narrow down the precise location.

The west picnic grounds are on the west side of como, hamline, horton, and midway are the streets around it. Leah I don't want to reveal myself on-line.

SueBee

Diggin', the hunt only has 12 clues. And #12 walks you by the hand to the exact location. The next three have to narrow down WHERE in Como, which is a BIG park. There's nothing left to think about. If you really want to dig somewhere else, that's your right, but you'll be wasting your time. I promise

icm

What doesn't fit como?

a park with lots of space

circular thinking the two O's in cOmO

memory lane: the old trolley car thats in the miniature golf

man of mettle: churchill?

not a man of steel? SuperMOM

COcoa and MOcha put them together COMO

riding around can be fun? carousel

off base: ball fields, or maybe even move away from the slow slide

battle of lexington: maybe a reference to memory lane too. or even the paddle boats for that matter.

im thinking como.. anyone else care to venture with me on that one?

Cell phones are so worth it in the days like this... so one person can be at the park while the other is at the Pioneer Press.

Sun, 01/28/2001 - 12:45 AM Permalink
kitty

Leah- Yes. Are you looking in your yearbook, cause if so Baaad picture.

regman

Zone 4 and 7, sound good!

Sun, 01/28/2001 - 12:46 AM Permalink
SueBee

Not that it even matters anymore, but I think I've figured out the "Circular Thinking could be one way of linking..." clue. You play a ROUND of golf, and they call golf courses "links." It was just trying to say that it's in a park that has a golf course. Whatta ya think? I just want to see if I'm right when the explanations come out.

Sun, 01/28/2001 - 12:46 AM Permalink
ares

don't say 7, regg. too many bad memories of that hunt, too :)

Sun, 01/28/2001 - 12:47 AM Permalink

bugs me when you don't know what the clues is cuz you don't got a cell, and everyone else does. On this last few days, they can be vvveeerryyy helpful. Gotta run to the store and grab another.

Sun, 01/28/2001 - 12:47 AM Permalink
