Oh, I know. Just exploring other possibilities. I was the one who originally came up with the old cable car tracks. But there is also another cable car out at Como, by the mini golf, carosel, bb fields and playground. Kinda thinking over there fits better.
I still have a tough time believing it's at Como ... it's too soon to be there again, and the matches to the clues don't seem so great. But I can't get the clues to fit anywhere else, so I guess I'll go with Como for now. The latest clue particularly bothers me. I really thought it was supposed to be an anagram (just combining the first syllables seems too obvious/simple), but I couldn't get anything out of it.
I would love to think it's Como, but I have a feeling that they are using the clues against us. They already made it known that this year was gonna be hard. Maybe it's just me, but it would be a great year if they did mess with our heads like that. It would even be cooler if we made it to the 12th clue.
The last clue makes it CLEAR that it is at como. A mocha already has chocolate in it....therefore the coffe reference is ONLY to state the fact that it is in COMO...(Cocoa/Mocha) We were out there last night...and it IS going to be tough. I never realized how big this place actually is....IT COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THAT PARK!
Reasons why Como? deal = Such boards or planks considered as a group. east and west = picnic grounds space and riding around = space needle or carosel cocoa and mocha = COMO
Oh, I agree that it'd be great if they're just toying with us and dragging this thing out as long as possible. The harder the better. And I think that is indeed what they're doing: making it intentionally confusing and frustrating (more so than usual). I don't want it to be at Como, I am not 100% convinced it's there ... but nothing else works (for that matter, neither does Como, in my opinion, but I'm willing to follow the crowds at this point).
Nah...too late in the game to be doing that. They had to give up the park sooner or later...not better time than clue 8. Clue 9 will be a good one.....you'll see. It will only solidify clue 8....
I was snooping around in that round cirlce with the little green boxes and triangle and nearly busted my --ss when I walked over that box thing with a lock on it under the snow at Como. I sure thought there would have been more people around. Is Como on both sides of Lexington?
Maybe it's just nobody wants it to be Como, b/c we don't want to endure the intense task of digging and turning acres and acres of snow. For example, I was digging by the West Picnic Sign yesterday, buy A friend and me just decided to have a snowball fight instead :) Until he hit a parked car! Then we casually but quickly left.
Yes, but if its there, I think it is near the east side, b/c all of the events are on the west side and one of the clues says "to escape the herd"... also in clue four the east and west crap...
I am with you DD. I am waiting for the snow to be churned up more. Tons of space not even touched. Bad news, on the way home I heard maybe some freezing rain Monday. I better bring my hair dryer tomorrow.
I also think we all try much harder than we should... I hate when the explanations come out and there are only 1 or 2 explanations on each clue, and they're the really obvious ones!!!
DigginDude - hello again! I was thinking the same thing as you - still no mention of the word "park". The last time they didn't use "park" in any of the clues (if you go down memory lane!) it was at Hidden Falls. Except for this last clue, I'm still stuck there. I was sure todays cocoa mocha clue was an anagram of sorts. Let's see if you take hot cocoa you get Swiss Miss - that practically spells Mississippi - okay it doesn't work. But, I am not 100 percent convinced it is at como. Clue one says STAY ON YOUR TOES or you'll hunt till June. Does this mean a big area/park or does it mean it is not the obvious place (COMO).
Could be ON the lake... What do we do when we walk on ice? Tip Toe...ie.stay on your toes. What would happen if we didnt find it? The ice would melt...and we would be swimming around for it in june!
