Does anyone know if there was carnival festivities at Como the last time the medallion was hidden there? It seems odd they would risk vandalism and such by hiding the medallion in the same park. Not too mention the parking problem.
Hello all - too tired for words this morning. Was at Como 'til the wee hours. Anyway, I really think it is somewhere in the west picnic area - you got the carousol, the streetcar, the playground. I just haven't figured out the man of mettle yet. Not digging again, until the next clue comes out.
I guess I will join the masses and head to Como. I promised my 4-year-old I would take him digging. If all else fails, we'll visit the activities there.
Sweetbaby, I just go where everyone else goes. I was at Battlefield on year and was the only one there. It was scarey back in those hills with nobody around.

DR - LOL! DigginDude - Every year the clues come out everyone immediately says Como. People I know say Como when they haven't even read the clues.
Wish I would have sent in my Publishers Clearinghouse - probably have a better chance at winning that than finding the medallion!!

When I drove by the big slide at Como the army trucks were there and off the base.

They are not concerned with the parking...."to each his own".....BUT!! they do have some sort of security at Como for the sculptures, maze, and slide.

I saw a gold ball on one of the buildings at Como on my way up to the snow slide.
I still wonder why they haven't said anything about it being in a park yet. They just kept referring to a place in St. Paul.
