Everyone wants it to be at Phalen every year. It has not been there is no long and it seems as though everyone knows a lot about it. I have not a clue as to why anyone would stear away from Como after yesterdays clue.
hey guys. just got back from a few hours of digging on the west picnic grounds. thanks, guide and whoever else was down there for the fire. as far as i know, jake, tim, and treasure digger are still out there.
sorry step, schlett, and regg for missing you. i got detoured to a buddy's place in cottage grove to do some tech support on his peecee and didn't get to the park till 1215. you didn't call me dan :)
for all the trees already dug up there, i'm thinking the picnic grounds aren't the place (or at least the depressed region by the fire rings). the pavillion's looking better all the time. i imagine i'll be there at lunchtime tomorrow, complete with the towel on my arm.
Matt you are kind of a hypocrite are't you? Your little blurb under your name says to trust your instinct. Yet you bite peoples head off for stating that their instinct tells them it is not in Como. Get over it. Gut feeling, instinct, What's the miff?
Matt- 03:21pm Jan 28, 2001 ST (#22485 of 22485) The frenzy is upon us. Trust your instincts, trust your eyes. Thier as many dollars to the reward as there are wrong directions to it.
if it's any consolation, donna, (and it isn't to me), i'm going to florida sometime next month for work, and by then, i won't care where this med is :)
I agree, we should just all 'dig along'. I was ticked at Brandon last nite for giving us a bogus clue at 11 pm, but we have to move on...Has anyone checked out (and I am sure they have) - I see the Coach Rd that you all are talking about, then Cushing Circle for circular thinking, but I never really realized that the old Children's Museum was there on Lexington (playing clue, and if Lex Luther was Supermans nemisis this could mean man of mettle. Also could a peaceful bird be a loon (like in MN Lottery, or a MN Tourism box (if there is such a thing with a loon on it). Traveling the old way again could mean going to Energy Park Drive to get to the old Children's Museum, or the Short Line train tracks could mean an old way of thinking and/or making a big haul. I know it has been on Highways b4, and if it is "off base" from the Children's Museum and on Energy Pk Dr, is there a coffee place around there? Just throwing things out. YOU DON'T THINK STIRRING COMBINATION, COULD MEAN JUST THAT, GETTING EVERYONE STIRRING AROUND COMO WHEN IT IS NOT THERE, BUT CLOSE?
Mac, I will be with you at the P.P and if you can prove to me that your place is good... then I will go with you... I need to see this next clue come out. I am still so confused
oh those things are good annette. I just came back from Como and I'm going back out again. Two things for FYI: 1 is that there is an old abandoned bridge out by the old park reserve building on the corner of Lexington right before you get to the pavillion.
The other is the pavillion is called black bear crossing - you probably already know that - and the oher thing is that they use ojibway in their service counter stuff. Just in case it comes up.
Ares,no we're heading out with the kids in a little bit, gonna take a few shots at the puck!We were out till about 4:00am last night and had a great time!:) Jord, you and Pryz been out?
We'll be at the picnic area for now,I still have a very open mind to my original theory though, hopefully the next clue will clear that up but they both look good to me!
Scribe... no slept in and then slogged through. Pryzmsphere is at work again til 11 and I have been throwing together some options looking at the map... brainstorming with a friend of mine online... Where are you goin again? Same as last night?
If everyone will be out at Como tonight, i'm willing to be there with my Explorer serving the free apple cider, the packages of cookies (16 in a pack for 50 cents), The hand warmers for 75 cents each, and the Granola Bars for 50 cents each (2 in a pack). Anyone want me to do this?

no i talked to aw earlier and i think hes thinking that all the clues fit and that the first med was hid there
the first med was there ....before that they hid a chest
The first med was hiden at Highland. Just thought you might want to know. :)

Phalen Park's gates are closed late night. I can't see it being hidden there unless it were completely open. I liked it until last night.
How did he get around the cocoa mocha bit? (Which spells "Como," and "Coach A" <-- Coach Avenue)

no beckster that was a chest.... look up past places and look at 1958 this is the firt year that it was a medallion
erm, not coach avenue, it's coach rd. :P
Matt...the med. is bigger than a silver dollar, unless you know of some fairly large silver dollars.
Ok sorry Donna that was my bad. Sorry and thank you for the correction. :)
Hey Ares i live in cottage grove and a bunch of us are going out tonite... is your buddy going back out
Huntress: Instincts and eyes. Use your feelings, use what you see in front of you. I didn't say "don't back up your gut feelings."
I talk about instincts, I talk about eyes. What's your problem?
Hey no problem just wanted you to know thats where alot of people are puting the cicular clue into place
Anyway, I'm not here to argue about ethics. Later.
donna, my buddy left for phoenix today. he had to send some email before he left.

Hey! good luck everyone!! see ya out there!!

Matt:Look up some history, finding the puck is always dumb LUCK!
But if this hunt strokes your intelligence meter,so be it.
don't remember, scribe, perhaps from someone on the crew? :)
Ares,I just can't recall who could have figured such a difficult thing out......Not me,I of course am always in the frog pond or Linwood!:)
Thanks, Lonehunter, no I hadn't realized. This hunt gets me to know more about our parks every year...I am still learning.
actually, i think i heard it first from tthg at the fire he assisted in starting today. though you may have mentioned it earlier here.
btw, scribe, where were you and thx today?
Been out today, Scribe? Anything new looking good?
I have been throwing together some other ideas... just in case tonights clue throws us off of where we were. :)

I'm just glad we have it narrowed down for sure!
